Board 8 > NOMINATION RALLY TOURNAMENT - Nominations Needed!

It's that time again! A new contest is upon us, which means it's time for us to decide who gets in. Details are scarce but we know it's a character contest, our first since 2013! In past tournaments, LeonhartFour led us through a contest to determine who would earn (much of) Board 8's support, and now it's time to do it again!

We will again have two separate brackets - Newcomers and Returning Characters (Returners). Given the sheer number of characters in 2013, both the Newcomers and Returners bracket will be of the same size (most likely 64, but it may change based on number of nominations or if SBAllen decides to start the contest nomination period very soon).

The general agreement is that those participating in the Nomination Rally Tournament will nominate whoever wins each bracket into the Summer Contest. However, you can support as many characters as you want.

Nomination Rules
You may nominate up to 10 newcomers and 10 returners.
Characters can be nominated by more than 1 user - that actually makes them more likely to make the bracket.
The characters you nominate must be eligible by GameFAQs rules. Characters that exist in a gray area (like Geralt) can be nominated for this tournament, but they may not get into the actual Summer Contest.
A character that has been in a prior contest vote-in but did not make the bracket will be considered a Newcomer.
Nominations will be tentatively open until Thursday, August 9th at 8 AM ET. I may extend the deadline if we need more nominations.
