Haven't seen a Ralts since the first day of the female event. There was a WB'd Kirlia listed near a Pokestop today but either couldn't seem to find it in time or at all.

I'm kinda worried that Gardevoir might lose Confusion as a fast move when Gen 4 hits (which would likely be a big step down as a defender) so I'm hoping to get a really great one before then. (Albeit right now I have a lv34 C/DG one, but I think it's likely like 70% IVs so I don't feel like powering it further)

Last 7k hatched and it was a Alolan Diglett =x I hate 7ks. Now I just have to remember to not accidentally open a gift until I get a new egg to replace it, etc.

Also the weather is getting colder now which really sucks. Was hoping that it'd stay a bit on the warmer side until November so I wouldn't have to freeze during the inevitable ghost/dark event.

For fuck's sake. Sitting at home and loaded up the app, and saw an Alolan Raichu raid nearby with just a few minutes left. I ran out to get it even though it's cold and raining, because I still haven't gotten one.

I got into the lobby, and switched over to the browser for a few seconds. Switched back to Pokemon, and in that short time the app crashed and had to restart.

Of course the loading bar froze for a while the first time, so I closed and restarted yet again. This time the game loaded properly - but the raid was already over.

Speaking of, once again I don't think I've raided in like a week (kind of a running thing), just given bad timing and then the lack of maps and high turnover on gyms.

Granted, it's an underwhelming rotation other than Mewtwo (and the fact that TTar is back), but still.

Oh, psychic event wrapped up without me getting any more good Exeggs. Part of the problem was the other events interrupting it. Granted, it won't be an issue if we get another chance at FP Venusaur or, for that matter, when FP Sceptile is a thing.

Also disappointed about not getting a really great Slowbro but who knows how things will wind up when they revamp defense and HP.

Yeah they said they were doing a rebalance around the release of gen 4 so Im guessing they may have raised the max hp of Pokmon but left its current hp the same. Looks like nothing too drastic happened? First time they did this Lapras use to be one of the big gym defenders but they nerfed it and it kinda just went into obscurity after.

This is incredibly annoying.. I hate having Pokmon hurt and now I have like 600..

Ha yes I havent looked at what I exactly need to heal but Ill be using the crappy regular potions for quite some time to come now.

It's clearly a work in progress, because different things keep happening. First, my Blissey completely disappeared. Then all my other Pokemon except Chansey and Blissey needed healing, and now only my Chansey and Blissey do.

Also saw -- but couldn't find in time -- an Electabuzz yesterday. Plus starter Pokemon were a lot more common yesterday... and I spent like 40 minutes wandering around my neighborhood at night trying to find a WB'd Metang without any luck, but that's unrelated.

I think that's just about everything. You're missing Piplup and Carnivine, I think, and then from the 10k eggs Riolu (Lucario's basic form) and Shinx.

I think Staraptor is going to be a pretty decent, cheap flying attacker/glass cannon. It has the same attack as Machamp

Flying doesn't have the same value as fighting and his moves kinda suck. He'd be neat if he got Sky Attack instead of BB.

Plus one of the big uses for flying types would be fighting raids and his normal typing means he loses out on a resistance. Conversely, if we're talking grass bosses then SA Moltres is probably top DPS.

Because they already made a few other neat-looking Pokemon into regionals? =x At least we got Tauros.

Regionals in general are annoying, though. Not sure why we keep seeing them despite fan complaints.

I do understand the appeal of regionals; it gives you something that you can't get in no matter how much you catch or how many raids you do in your own area, so it's one more thing to look forward to getting. But I think instead of making them impossible in certain areas, they could just make them exceedingly rare in that area.

That way it's still possible for anyone who can't travel out of country, and you'll feel some accomplishment when you catch one, since each regional is otherwise pretty common in their respective regions.

I think you should be able to get regionals from eggs if theyre sent from the region theyre from. Like get an egg from Australia? 2% chance of a khangaskhan.

The dumb thing about regionals is that they eventually make them available through events

It would be better to make them extremely rare globally but just more common in a specific region

Regionals in the *games* made sense because they were used as a trading gimmick. Regionals in Go don't make sense given the lack of global trading and most people are stuck relying on either spoofers or events to overcome the issue.

Plus it's not like the regionals themselves are all that common within their region so even if you know somebody going on vacation somewhere, they're likely not coming back with enough copies to trade everybody.
