Board 8 > Anyone interested in Castlevania characters for CBX (preferably newcomers)?

Castlevania has a lot of cool characters --especially from the Ayami Kojima and IGA era-- that haven't been in yet. Hector/Isaac is one of the coolest rivalries in gaming, yet it's a shame that they didn't get in back in RR. I tried to push Shanoa as well for a female Castlevania representative in CBIX, but no success either.

Hector is probably my second favorite videogame character of all time (the first being Cecil from FFIV), and even though Curse of Darkness is not as popular as other games in the series, I think nominating him might be worth a shot, as well as a few other recognizable characters (Soma Cruz, Maria, Shanoa, etc.).

Patriot Round 1 --- Lost to (1) Solid Snake, 19487 [17.85%] - 89697 [82.15%]
Extrapolated Strength --- 55th Place [16.74%]
The female bracket didn't *only* ruin half of the contest. Characters like Soma Cruz were stuck in impossible spots thanks to only half the bracket being open to him. He might have gotten a 5 or 6 seed normally, but in this case, he was stuck as 8 seed fodder. He filled the role well, at least, failing to even break 20% on Snake.

I wouldn't mind seeing Richter get in, maybe. I always felt he was a popular character within the ranks of Alucard/Simon with the Castlevania fanbase and he was in a couple of the games in the series.

Yeah I think Richter is the choice now. And a pretty decent one at that. Once we know the full nomination situation I might be able to offer a trade for you.

And Simon will do very well in nominations. Depending on field size, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get as high as a 4 or 5 seed.
