So wouldn't that be inherently obvious to most people? And does blocking his content not validate him to his followers and possibly to other crazies on the outskirts who are likely perfectly willing to use alternative sources to find his content?

It's definitely very coincidental and the timing is very convenient. What event happened recently that made all these separate, private companies act so suddenly? Pretending that google is just like any other private company is pretty hilariously disingenuous at this point. These companies are factually government subsidized and definitely function as public spaces. Pretending they dont is bs

Ironically Twitter is the one that has so far refused to ban him. Some people are of course up in arms about him not being banned from Twitter despite his not breaking their ToS

They don't have to - infowars is just them, they aren't a platform they ARE the espousers. It's YOUTUBE that's the platform

Infowars also isn't taking millions in tax subsidies as a near monopoly. In many ways Google is dangerously close to public utility status no different than electricity or water and they're trying to have their cake and eat it too with it's protections as a platform vs publisher. They can't have it both ways, and it will be interesting to see what the legal landscape is down the line for situations like this.
