i'd really recommend it. a lot of the mechanics were updated so much to make a lot of it more streamlined.
the endgame and post game is tremendous in the amount of content.

if you are getting it on pc or switch then enjoy it. ps4 is quite good but the dlc gives a lot more for certain things like baal boss fight

Massive changes to the system. It's got way more going on beyond leveling skills, items and characters. I still have other games to catch up on but the 5 hours I played weren't bad at all. Like most disgaea games, the characters don't really shine until the last main characters join the party.
