I'm like, somewhat interested, but not greatly so, since it doesn't really fit into the rest of the series. It's up to you.

Sounds pointless because Phoenix and Maya are the only AA characters in the game

the thing with Layton/AA is that it's formatted differently so the line counts would be interesting to see compared to the mainline games

like the investigations would have low line counts just because you don't have free investigations and so much of the time is spent solving puzzles

Actually it would be insteresting just to see who has more lines between Layton and Wright, and Luke and Maya

Phoenix will definitely have more lines than Layton because Phoenix is the lead character for the trials, and Layton is absent from the game for a fairly significant stretch of time. Luke probably beats Maya for the same reason, although I think it'd be closer.

Luke misses all of case 4, though. And that was the longest segment of the game.

Well, he has a few brief parts because it cuts to Layton/Luke in the middle of the trial a few times, but yeah, that might cost him.

Ace Attorney Season 2 Episode 1 spoilers
As expected they completely flew through 2-1 in a single episode. It felt like they covered the case pretty well anyways. They cut the business card and just have Maya call Phoenix's phone so there's no chance for Phoenix to point to the name on the card. I guess they don't really have time to fit in things like that. The next episode preview is for 3-2 so it seems like 3-1 is getting moved somewhere else.

That's possible. Although, I feel like it might be a bit strange to have 3-1 and 3-4 side by side. Especially if both are only just a single episode long.

Being such important cases I seriously hope they won't be single episode. 2, or even 3 episodes each would be great; they could try to flesh out Mia's backstory outside the courtroom.

Also I forgot 3-4 is before 3-1, that order would be more logical for the anime

While the anime usually sticks pretty closely to being an accelerated version of the games this can sometimes lead to significant differences. I know some people are waiting for the dub so I decided to play it safe.
