Hey I wanted to clarify on my post in the other topic before it filled up. That drop in 2-4 night...Is it story related and guaranteed on the first run? Or was I just really lucky for that, and super ultra mega unlucky on things that I actually want :<

Finally got to 4-3E. Damn is it a lot easier to grind than most missions before it lol.

Anyway to not use so much ammo tho? I'm using 100+ every resupply when I start the stage.

I use 200 ammo exactly for each 4-3E run. If you want to use less, do everything on the first turn with no ammo-hogging units.

Yeah less ammo hogging units, or outright corpse drag it but since you recently got there i don't think that's an option...

In general, early on with low resources you don't want to use MG's and RF's since they burn through ammo.

How come some guides recommend using a dummy echelon with one handgun to save ammo.

I mean if the dummy echelon that you deploy on maps is not engaging enemies, it will not use any resources.

It might be for the extra movement, or it might be so you can retreat the echelon that's being leveled without costing them all their resources when you terminate the mission. Those are the main reasons I think.

Oh, I just noticed you mentioned it was to save ammo. Then it's the latter reason. You can terminate a mission with just the HG so that one poor fellow will only lose 10 ammo/rations, compared to the entire echelon.

If it's for the normal machine unit mission, yeah you use a single HG echelon and swap out the main ech with the HG ech and retreat the main ech. Otherwise even if you try to spend another turn, you can't retreat your last ech

A variant of the USP .45? Neat, that was my go-to pistol in the Modern Warfare games.

But yeah, those were added to the EN version with this latest update. They drop from 7-1 onwards, and I think they're also in the production pool. Their skills and buff tiles are pretty good for 2* HG's, with Bren Ten in particular being a fantastic buffer for AR's and RF's. Bren Ten's evasion is mediocre at best, but her buff tiles let her stay on the backline and be covered up by an SMG tanking. USP's buff tiles are arranged in a way that doesn't allow her to be on the backline, but her evasion is great.

She's waaaay to Tsundere for me to handle. I can't stand it. I kept one for collection, then dummy'd it with all the dupes of her I get. To dummy her any higher, I'd need to actually use her to get to those levels, that's not gonna happen. So I've core'd like last like 4 I've gotten. Well, now 5.

I think pretty much anywhere. If I'm not mistaken, they're non-humanoid, non-armor enemies like those tiny dudes, the sniper guys, or those weirdos who ride other weirdos.
