wtf...

so trying to leave, and my neighbor is doing construction on his house. one of the trucks holding tools is blocking me in

someone comes out to get tools a second later so i say "hey man, mind moving the truck? youre blocking me in"

he says "ok" but doesnt even look at me and goes back inside. i figure hes getting the keys or something

i wait 5 minutes! and he comes back out....to get some tools before heading back in

i say "hey, i really need you to move the truck, i got somewhere i need to be"

and he just snaps and screams "youve never even worked a day of manual labor in your life have you!" and then runs back inside

like wtf....im just in shock

like 30 sec later a different guy (think he was different guy) comes out and moves the truck without saying a word

i guess an unintended consequences of wearing a blazer everywhere is i intimidate construction workers...

lol it seems like people always have trouble dealing with people higher up on the food chain than them. all ill say is there's a reason the engineers are in charge and make more than construction workers do while while working a less strenuous job.
