If this does end up happening and other big companies start getting interested in making products like this it'll basically show and prove that big business wants into the cannabis market through there ability to try it out in canada...

This makes me believe that its very inevitable that cannabis will be legalized eventually, if so this is really good..

How would they do this legally? Even ignoring federal laws, wouldn't there be issues transporting it through states?

We're a long ways away from selling weed in a cigarette carton at a gas station.

what happened to the idea that millennials are shunning many low quality brands, like what you always hear about with light beer vs craft?

wouldn't that also apply to cannabis? like even if there are cheap low quality options out there you would think there would be enough of a market for higher quality products as well. i don't see that market just going away or becoming unsustainable to run a business in.

True, but coca cola is huge, if companies like coca cola are going to start showing that they would get into the cannabis market if it were only legal now thanks to them being able to try it out in canada..

And once big business shows that they really want in on the cannabis business it'll inevitably happen over time.

The feds will have no choice but to legalize once about 5-6 more states fully legalize and companies like Coke and big alcohol get involved. Only a matter of time.

I don't think legalization will come as simple as that, they still fear the backlash of the public and I still get the feeling that they want to use it as a political football at first waiting for the day its legalized so whatever party is in the white house at the time can be made out to be wreckless for allowing it under their watch.

A lot of political back and forthing inevitably has to obviously take place before hand so that they can get it out of their system until it becomes a dead horse the same way it happened with gay marriage.
