The search is on for the new co-host of The Talk after Julie Chen "Moonves" shamelessly left the talk show at the beginning of the new year for standing by her husband's side despite his sexual assault claims.

Multiple sources however say that the long list of names is being discussed but one woman has emerged as the TOP CONTENDER for the replacement..and it's former View Co-Host and Trump nemesis ROSIE O'DONNELL!!

Sources tell dailymail that "she has a proven track record, from her own show to her time on The View and despite being polarizing, she brings in viewers"

The source also says that Rosie is great at "creating moments" which would guarantee more press coverage for the show

Rosie is also seen as someone what few people can do what Chen did as moderator as Rosie is a bit intense with her politics but incredibly good at connecting with the audience.

Deidre Dod is now on the Talk as talent producer and has worked well with Rosie in the past.

Rosie is most memorable for her liberal politics and beefing with then Donald Trump and will likely do so now that he is president. She also clashed with former view co-host and conservative hag, Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She's also clashed with Joy Behar over who was the "moderator" on The View and subsequently left the show when she was not made head host..

If the negotiations are right and Rosie accepts, she will be on the show after Christmas when the show returns and could be the new main moderator of the show.
