There's an incredibly annoying bug on my Dragalia that refuses to work if I'm on Wi-Fi. I sent a ticket but can't tell if I would get a response any time soon. I guess I'm lucky I have unlimited.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get all 10 of the waves in challenge mode but arghhh the best I can do is get the last wave boss to about 20% hp. It really depends on if my Celly survives to the end so I can use my uber Leviathan, but using Silky? has also been not too bad in terms of dps.

I'm also trying to get my H.Elly as buff as possible but it's tough without having access to the light daily

Welp... I got screwed. So for whatever reason, after my Wi-Fi went out once, the game seemed to have blacklisted any connection from my Wi-Fi. It will refuse any connection with it even if the wifi works for any other processes. So I tried reinstalling... and it still doesn't work, so now I'm fucking stuck cuz I don't wanna download all that extra data through 4G.

I sent a ticket but hopefully they fix it any time soon. In the mean time I guess I'm taking a break from the game, as short as that break might be depending on how quickly they give me back a response

I have a similar issue. My game just doesn't want to download on the phone. The original install I had to leave on overnight (8+ hours) and it only completed about 50%.

My tablet, however, which only has Wi-Fi is able to download the entire thing in about 5 minutes. Ironically, my download speeds are better on my phone with 4G than they are with Wi-Fi. I'm pretty sure there's some kind of problem with the physical hardware.

If you have any other device that is wi-fi only, why don't you try downloading that and seeing if that works.

This has been discussed extensively on reddit, here are the cliffs.

a maxed out Tier 2 5* is only a tiny bit stronger than a Tier 3 4*. Furthermore, Tier 3 5*s require extremely limited resources that you cannot buy from the store to craft, on top of the fact that it takes over a million rupies to make.

In short, you should make as many 4* elemental weapons as you can because you will not have general access to 5* elemental weapons.

This is why making assumptions gets you bit in the ass. :( I had the blacksmith on level 4, didn't even look to see if level 5 required Halidom level 5. I just assumed. Facility level is 181 so, being close to level 5 of the kingdom, I check the blacksmith to make sure I have all the materials. I do. And also realized I could've upgraded it days ago.

I felt very dumb.

Don't worry lol I did the same freaking thing. Up til then they let you upgrade smithy once per halidom so it didn't make sense that they let you do it twice that time.

Also on the elem 4* compared to 5* t2, you lose out on a quite a bit of might, but using the elemental weapon with the same element as the character will actually give them pretty significant stat buff, making you stronger than using the t2 weapon. Also I'm pretty sure when you eventually get to 5* t3 elems, you're basically expected to max the rest using Damascus Crystal, which is event locked as well as being extremely expensive to get via mana circle last tier.

5* weps just don't feel worth it to me yet. I guess it's really for people who've played for a long long time

Also, wow, fixed the Wi-Fi issue. I just had to disable IPv6 on my router and it accepted my Wi-Fi. Really annoying =_= probably gonna send them a ticket to resolve this shit. Doesn't make sense either since I always had it enabled and it didn't cause an issues previously. Something's up with their server I would think, since it wasn't a firewall problem on my end

I got the Halloween Hero title. Though it only happened after unlocking the last node on my H.Elly and maxing my 2 unbound H.Silky. I had my halloween facility at lvl 26 as well. Doing this fast is actually all about doing the previous waves as fast as you can and then using your dragon to hopefully kill the other two guys while still doing damage to the boss. Because the other two guys can ruin your combo and knock you down, which significantly slows you down

I just got Halloween Hero.

I did it by bringing a damage friend and using skills to one shot wave 3. Transformed dragon early on boss wave and beat it with 3 seconds to spare. None of my team is particularly well unbound. I don't think I'd have been able to do this without both Julietta and Lindworm.

I just failed so hard it rolled over into a huge success.

So I was basically done with the feature banner after a few light pulls. I've been grinding the events so far. Blow all stamina on Horrors, use Getherwings on Pumpking and do extra battle for 0 stamina until level up, then repeat the process. I've got a ton of those ashes left over from the raid gift so it's been working out pretty well for me.

Then I had an enormous brainfart and confused Tricker Treats with Snack-o-lanterns and decided that I'd buy a 5th Plunder Pals to merge them into a MUB plunder pal print, and use the 3* / 4* Silke lends a hand / Pumpkin Pail WPs for more Tricker Treats--except they don't give Tricker Treats, they give Snack-o-Lanterns. So I went from 100% Tricker Treats 100% Snack-o-Lanterns to 50% Tricker Treats and 150% Snack-O-Lanterns. Great fucking job. Now if I want to buy another one it's 150 Jack Chocolate.

So I look on the banner, both 5* wyrmprints are for Tricker Treats, I figure if I pulled and got one, I could at least break even to where I was before. So I pulled, and it triggered the pity rainbow and I got H.Elisanne. :x

Yeah 100% treats is the highest you can get without the 5* gacha WPs. I'm in the same boat. I'm shooting for the last key piece and will probably chill on the farming. I'm for sure not getting the whole rewards, though that's what I thought about bronze and silver rewards in the last event. (ended with like... I wanna say 2200 gold or so?)

I really want the 100 waters but it's the second last reward and it's mostly 20000-30000 per reward. About 7000 a run underestimated I'd need to do this more than 100 times. Each run is 10 stamina. I don't think there's a way to do it without using diamantium to refill stamina.

Meanwhile, I can get sub 2 min runs 4 out of 5 times. But sometimes some of the waves will not be cooperative... I was shooting for a 1:30. 1:24 left is my record but it really depends on how lucky I am to keep all the party members alive by the time I break the boss. H.Elly makes it such a quick work though. H.Elly and Ezelith are bread and butter. Eze gets bonus on breaks, H.Elly makes breaks more frequent, so I'm happy that they're the 2 5* chars I have. Game's definitely been kind to me, but I think there will be a pretty long downtime after this event lol

I'm at almost the same boat. I'm going to play with whatever stamina I have tomorrow and then I'm done with this event. 30k per reward is just way too much.

Also I just want to say this game has some serious item rarity to consumption ratio issues. The bronze / silver materials are "common" yet I'm always in short supply of them because of how many it takes to unlock something. I have like 50 buckets that I can't spend on anything and I'm still not done with all the Jack Chocolate rewards.

All my upgrades are getting bottlenecked at the common dragonscale while I've got the rare ones coming out of my ass.

Yeah the dragonscale requirement can be a bit ridiculous for how few you get per run. I imagine you're trying to upgrade H.Elly. I had to do so many Lightwyrm quests on the side for her lol. And the daily rewards don't help here, unlike in Imperial Onslaught where you get to do the 2nd from the top one for a lot of the uncommon medals you need for 4* elem weps.

It was so much that the expensive common lightscale was one of the first items I redeemed from the trade shop. Worth it in the end though I think. Gotta love H.Elly

Another thing is, most people are not at the point where they have a guy per element, so we're trying to juggle both the event and grinding up whoever we're gonna use for the lead. Frustration can easily be doubled in this kind of situation

I'm not upgrading anyone right now because what I have is good enough to clear all the content. This was more about dragonscale requirements for the halidom. Tryin to get some 5* weapon action going. I've got a MUB T1 dagger that I can't upgrade because I'm short some horns.

Someone did the math and determined that 5*T2 MUB weapons are slightly stronger than 4*T3 weapons, the reason why you go for the 4*T3 weapons is cost. It takes 125000 rupies + asston of mats to make a single 5*T2. Basically, for every two 5*T2 weapons you make, you can make a 4*T3 weapon that is much stronger. Only when you MUB the T2 weapon does it outperform the 4*T3 which is really expensive.

That said, there are some weapons the which I do not have any 4*s for, and in those cases I'm building 5*s since they can be used on b any elemental character.

Doing the dagger first. Poor Ezelith had been stuck with her 3* since the beginning of the game. Going to do a 5* spear as well since I'm still using the Halloween spear

On other news, I downloaded this game and started playing it 4 days ago. Been doing it daily, it's kinda addicting! Granted I'm not used to mobile games having an actual story. Finally played up to the point where I can access special events and stuff.

Just know that the 4* units aren't bad if you get them. Don't promote them if you can help it, but feel free to invest xp and Mana in them to fill out a team.

Only extremely difficult events like the High Midgardsormr required highly optimised teams.

Yep. Eldwater is the most rare resource in the game and you need about 75000 to fully unlock a 5* character's Mana circle. Furthermore, 4* units promoted to 5* have weaker 5* skills than natural 5*s despite costing the same amount of eldwater, so you generally want to never spend any in non optimal ways.

Except 4*s are good enough to use without promotion. You lose out on one of their passives but have everything else like the actives with some stat lost. Most of the 4* healers are pretty commonly used (certain 4* healers are better to use in elemental advantage dungeons compared to Hildegarde, the only 5* healer so far) and some 4*s have great combination of passives and actives that end up outdamaging damage focused 5*s.

The only tip here is that you don't promote them, but you should use them. The act of promoting is the only thing that's the noob trap here

I, an idiot, decided to do a full pull because I already have Eze and the fire healer girl and guessed the next banner wouldn't be something I'd pull at. Buuuut I managed to get the last copy of the Sniper's Allure. That is 20% break punisher and 15% skill prep at max unbind on my Eze who already has 30% break punish (I believe it's additive so 50% damage boost on break, and 20% break punisher is for the whole team to go with my H.Elly's fast gauge depletion)

So worth it kinda, but sad that my last 3 batches had a total of 4 4* and no 5* T-T

She's pretty sexy but I think I'm pretty content with Eze. It also helps that my Euden is high leveled due to him being an exp boost lackey on my team.

Vanessa, Euden, Mikoto, and Verica were the four units used to do the first kill on high Midgardsormr.

Ezelith is considered bad for High Midgardsormr because no stun resistance.
