So the correct response, rather than calling your league dumb, would've literally been to tell you to fire up Nathan Peterman.

Yeah looking back, I guess the news of Allen being ruled out did get posted to ESPN fantasy about half an hour before I made that post. Idk if they just hadn't updated projections yet or what. Basically I went to look at available QBs, sorted by projections, and the only name in the first ten or so I'd ever heard before was Jacoby Brissett, so I assumed no starters were available.

Then I saw a reddit post about how Derek Anderson has terrible career stats and I was like "wait, who, what?" And then I rejoiced, because I'm going to absolutely love rooting on a hopeless, pitiful 3rd string quarterback in a completely (kinda) unironic fashion.

I will be too!

Mostly because I completely forgot the guy existed, let alone that he was still in the league, before he was announced as the starter today.

And I really don't give a shit about the Colts in any capacity.

You might be onto something though. Peterman could end up being the better play here. >_>

First time this season I own zero players in TNF across 4 leagues.

Considering there's a combined like 4 players across both teams that deserve to be rostered (Assuming normal rules and league sizes) I'm not surprised

Dalvin Cook has been such a 2nd round pick bust for me in my work league. Even in my keeper league where I got him in the 4th he's been a complete bust. I'm literally starting Christian Kirk at WR tonight because I don't know if Cook will be able to fill my flex spot for Sunday.

Dalvin Cook has been such a 2nd round pick bust for me in my work league. Even in my keeper league where I got him in the 4th he's been a complete bust. I'm literally starting Christian Kirk at WR tonight because I don't know if Cook will be able to fill my flex spot for Sunday.

I got him at the 2/3 turn and the only reason I haven't been frustrated so far is because Conner has filled the gap.

Of course my opponent has Broncos D buh

In one league I'd been trying to find a trade of Jimmy Graham since he's on bye so that I could have a TE to start in a closely projected matchup.

Now my opponent is up 33 after just his defense played.

Think I'll just forget about it and roll with Graham.

Eh, I was gonna fire up Adrian Peterson this week regardless I think. Not a fan of playing guys first week back from nagging/long-term injuries

This makes Latavius Murray an intriguing option, but I'm not sure it's a better one for me specifically. Especially since I'd have to drop somebody (McCoy or Mayfield probably) and he'd be my eighth rostered RB

Well, thanks for pointing it out, at least. I was able to scoop him in my main league.

I got beaten to Chubb by the guy who only had three RBs rostered at the start of the week (after making moves through the week, he's up to five now - Mack, Chubb, Barber, Crowell and Lynch)

I don't feel that bad about it though, especially since I'm against the Hyde owner this week, and the only startable player he can replace Hyde with right now is Kenny Stills. His Fitz already played, his Graham is on bye, and the rest of his bench is QB/Kicker/Defenses

Same thing happened in my main league. Person dropped Chubb yesterday for a defense. Put in a claim but I'm 11/12 so no way I'm getting him. Got him in my work league I guess. Cut bait on Cook in that league since I'm never going to play him after all these setbacks and it's a 10 team league so I don't feel like he's worth holding onto.

I think Cook has legit league-winning upside if you could afford to stash him through the injuries. I fully understand not many teams can afford to though.

Just dropped Lynch to pick Buck Allen back up.

Man that Hyde trade is awesome for me across the board.

In my main league, I got Chubb. I also sold high on Yeldon a couple weeks ago and I expect his value to bottom out since they just bought Hyde.

In another league, my selling of Fournette for OBJ after week 2 just keeps looking better.

In this league, nothing special but I do have Duke Johnson so that's somewhat likely to be a boost for him.

Well I am fucked this week.

League has a limit on number of RB's you can have. I only have 2 RB's I can play this week due to byes and one of them is Chris Thompson who is Doubtful. But you can't IR a doubtful player, they have to be out. And since he plays in the 4:25 game by the time he is ruled out there will be like no viable waiver wire pick ups. I can drop him but not guaranteed to be able to get him back and as it's a 12 man league, waiver wire is really the dregs.

I was already in a very rough place due to byes but approaching just forget the week territory

tbh the only time it's justifiable to do this for any position is 2QB leagues (And even then only for QBs) or excessively large (>16) man leagues.

I am getting absolutely murdered in Fantasy this week. None of my players are doing anything, and a bye week for three of my players doesn't help.

Unless Gurley steps it up to what I usually expect from him and then my Matt Ryan/Calvin Ridley combo dominates, I am absolutely done.

I'm on pace to put up the highest score in my league this week (117ish according to projections, though I acknowledge those are generally worth jack shit) while effectively playing a man down (McCoy). I'm already over 100, though the only players I have left are Gurley and Zurlein.

I went with Justin Jackson over Mostert when doing a RB pickup, that was a mistake. Well actually I picked up Mostert and then dropped him when I changed my mind

Still somehow have a chance though. I have 3 points and AJ Green against Tevin Coleman. I think I'm a slight favorite but probably a toss-up since our league favors RB's

If Hunt keeps this up, I'm going to lose to the 0-6 all bye weeks guy.

I might not get the most points this week oops (I'm up 13 on the next highest score, but he has Dalton playing right now. It'll probably be close however it goes)

It means absolutely nothing except for my pride. But I like my pride. And I crushed the guy last week so I don't want him to be able to come back and try be able to say his team is on par with mine still.
