So to people who think Bell isn't going to play much this season, I guess you think Conner is worth buying by extension?

Guy in my league offered him up today, kinda sounding like he thinks Conner has 0 value after this week. I could probably give him someone like Dion Lewis or Jalen Richard.

If you could get him for that I would 100% do it. Bell likely shows up week 10 because he has to but he has already asked for a 2 week extension so maybe he feigns not being match ready. I think you get a few weeks out of Conner at worst and at best the better part of the season.

I think the reality might be some sort of split like Week 12 onwards

If you can get Conner for something like that, absolutely do it and ride it until the wheels fall off.

If nothing else, he should be a top 5 RB this week, and probably next as well. That's a lot more than your bench fodder <_<

I'd take Connor for Lewis or Richard in a heartbeat. Neither of those guys are consistent enough to start anyway, unless Richard explodes this week after the Lynch injury.

Thinking on it more, I figure he'll probably get suspicious if I offer him a straight up 1-for-1 of the same position. Maybe I'll do a decent 2-for-2 where they offset.

They already said they think it will take 2-4 weeks after he signs to get him ready to play. Bell wanted to be on the deactivated list for 2 weeks after reporting to get into shape. Steelers said they wouldn't pay him on it. So he is likely to just report and get in shape while on the roster.

Hopefully he can lay off the pot for 4 weeks before he reports.

Augh. Got the Bortles/Westbrook stack TD, and they went right back to Westbrook for the 2PC, and he caught it in the endzone but it got knocked out of his hands. Man that would have been a sweet little 4 point cherry on top.

Thanks to Alshon and Ertz dropping duds (Unless something really changes in the 4th) while both Hopkins and Miller feasted on Thursday my week is probably going to come down to Conner and Baldwin having good weeks ~_~

This is the kind of thing that gets your team locked and all of your players put back on your team in leagues I commish. The mindset of "I can't have fun so I'm going to ruin it for everyone else" is the worst.

I'm gonna get destroyed by the 9th place guy because he's having his best week of the season. His lowest scoring position player is literally Kerryon Johnson (9.1 points) wtf. Like, even his fucking defense put up 15 points ~_~

Meanwhile I got duds from both my WRs <_<

Someone in my main league left Julio, Coleman, and Hooper in their lineup. They left in Garcon too for good measure. He has 14 points and has a 45% chance of winning his matchup.

And yes, his opponent has a full roster of players going.

If James White matches his highest score of the season so far and Tremaine Edmunds matches his lowest score of the season so far, I'll win by 0.2. Hoo boy. I feel kind of OK but not out of the woods yet.

This is a huge game because we are both 5-2. There is one 6-1 team and he's already won. There are four 5-2 teams total and all of them are playing each other this week. Only 4 teams make the playoffs.

My match in the 20 team league this week is downright silly.

I'm playing against a team who hasn't made a transaction since the draft, and started a WR and DST who are on bye, and I'm probably going to lose.

My 2 WRs, TE, and Flex combined for 0.3. My bench, which has 4 people not on bye, combined for 0.9.

How did I end up like this, you ask?

Bye week players: Zeke, Sanu, Hooper

Players ruled OUT: Kupp, Enunwa

Starters who tanked this week:
-Keelan Cole with -0.2 (18 yards and a fumble)
-Spencer Ware with 0 (was literally the highest projected flex available to cover my injuries/byes)
-Alex Erickson with 0.5 (had to throw a dart at a random shitty WR)
-Nick O'Leary with 0 (was literally the highest projected TE available to cover my bye, or close to it)

My opponent has had his (drafted!) RB1/RB2 of Lamar Miller and Marlon Mack sitting in his starting lineup all year. They combined for 46 this week. He is starting Keenan Allen and Chargers D on bye.

I had Wilson, Collins, and Conner, but I'm only up by 12 and he has Brady tonight.

Edmunds out for the game. Gotta hope it's enough.

So frustrating. Edmunds whole value is that he's the best player on a defense that spends a lot of time on the field because their offense is bad. And he plays more snaps than any other player on that defense.

The first week of the season that my match comes down to him, he exits the game with an injury. And my win depends on him in multiple leagues. :(

In our B8 league I was ranked 7th coming into the week, as part of a 4-way tie, by record. Amazingly, despite winning, my rank didn't change. 5/6 of the teams above me also won.

If I had looked at my roster beforehand and updated it, I work have had Conner in over Desean. Which would have made me lose by .08 points. But, I would have also replaced my D player on bye to have probably won. Oops.
