Does anyone happen to know if Yahoo updates their team projections throughout the game?

Example, if your player is projected to score 15 points this week, and it's the start of the 4th quarter and your player has 0 points, do they still count the full 15 toward your team's total projection, up until the point when the game is over? Or does it gradually update throughout?

This is exactly what the Live Projection under the Original Projection on the matchups page is.

e.g my team was originally projected to score 112.5 points this week, but as of the Ertz TD just now it's projected for 147.93 (All hail James Conner + Todd Gurley hell yeah)

Edit: My projection literally went down while taking the screenshot because Kupp/Gurley's projections went down on account of the remaining game time decreasing, even

Wonder if Corrik is going to try to argue now. This rule has been set, so he shouldn't be able to.

*Shrug* what did I whine about? I was asked my opinion and gave it. If you want a rule change, change the rules. Lol

Yeah, I feel this is unwarranted because I literally called for people to give their opinions on it. AND I don't even think Corrik was being unreasonable since those were the rules established in the league (and the default for Yahoo). However, since he was the only one who raised objections, I went ahead and processed it.

(And I am strongly considering switching to ESPN next year since Yahoo booted me out no fewer than three times during the draft and I'm still bitter about that)

I manage the teams on computer, monitor them on Sunday on phone. It's just much easier to sort through all the information if I want to make any transactions on a full-sized screen.

In other news, man I wish I had played Eric Ebron. Not that George Kittle did poorly, nor did Joe Mixon in my flex, but I keep sitting on Ebron and he keeps doing admirably from my bench. Now I'm down 10 instead of conceivably up 8, with QB to go against DST and 1 IDP. Yahoo thinks I have a 30% chance.

I'm very gunshy of trades in general, because I never have a good sense of if I'm getting fleeced or not and because I hate giving up the things I already have, but I *might* be on the market for a serviceable receiver. If I lose this week it will be because my WRs were crap, while my RBs pulled the load and TE did okay (but could have done better!)

In my lesser money league, between weeks 2 and 3, I accepted a trade offer of giving my fournette for his OBJ.

So far, that is looking like a fantastic call on my part. I was very hesitant to accept, and waited until the last possible minute before it expired to go through with it. But I figured Fournette might have lingering problems with his hamstring for a while and that OBJ was more of a sure thing.

What do you guys think? Will Fournette be a solid RB1 for the 2nd half of the season? If so, is the trade still worth it if it gets me a few early wins to allow more breathing room later? It's a 12 team half ppr.

Ok friends, I'm back to begging you guys for help.

Because of my recent wtfs in picking up White, Kupp and Peterson, my team has improved greatly even recently, and I'm now super stacked at RB in exchange for WR depth. But I need to drop somebody for a bye-week fill in for Stafford (Targeting Mayfield or Winston). Who do I drop of the following?

Shady, Carson, Peterson, White (remaining RBs that I'm not willing to drop: Conner, Gurley, Cook)
Baldwin, Jeffrey (remaining WRs: Allen, Kupp)

Baldwin seems like the answer right? Just hesitant to kill my WR depth even more even if Allen+Kupp and Gurley+Conner (Cook when he's healthy and the Conner train derails) with picking flex based on matchup is very solid, and Alshon can bye week fill comfortably.

Probably Carson if not Baldwin? Shady finally showing signs of life and trade rumors have cropped up today.

I'd love to flip a couple RBs for a legit WR2 type, but nobody in my league fucking trades gdi

Alternatively I could drop Stafford and roll Mayfield until his Week 11 bye, but who knows what the wire will have then. 9/10 teams rostering two QBs atm, and the 10th is me.

So I am shook after Matt Ryan screwed me over last week. Can you guys give your expert (tm) opinions on my roster now and who to play this week?

QB - Matt Ryan or Andrew Luck. Both are against easy defenses, but Matt Ryan totally screwed the pooch last week and may be going in with a hurt foot. Luck seems like the safer choice for at least this week.

WR - I got JuJu and he's there to stay. But I also have my choices of Calvin Ridley, Desean Jackson, and Corey Davis (or my absolute bust of a pick Larry Fitzgerald). Was debating grabbing Chris Godwin or Tyler Lockett.

RB - I have Gurley and tragically Fournette. But I've had Phillip Lindsey in Fournette's place. I have no other back ups so bye week will be rough if Fournette doesn't come back soon.

TE - I have Eric Ebron and Tyler Burton. I've played Burton mostly but it seems like Ebron is the guy to hold onto after he absolutely killed it for me last week. He seems pretty integral to the Colts game plan.

K - idgaf

D - Baltimore Ravens, because they are literally the only good thing about the Ravens now.

So help me please.

I'll break down what I'd do here for you

QB - Play Luck. Easy.
WR - Grabbing Lockett is a good choice if you've got room IMO. Wilson seems to love him. Jackson is your stereotypical boom/bust gamble if you think you can't win without the boom.
RB - Who's available on your waiver wire? Should be looking there if you have nobody else to fill in. Gurley/Lindsay is decent, but I don't trust Fournette as far as I can throw him.
TE - Absolutely roll with Ebron as long as Doyle is out.

Reg, even if no one trades in your league I'd still try and trade Connor and see if anyone bites. With Bell coming back there's no telling what's going to happen to Connor's value going forward. Could be a timeshare, Bell could become the lead back outright or he could end up traded (I doubt this one but eh). Otherwise...Baldwin only getting one target is crazy (luckily it didn't burn me in the one league I have him and started him). I don't think that's going to continue but you might be able to get away with dropping him as I dunno if anyone's going to pick him up after that performance leaving him on waivers to play this week and having the bye next week. So you could conceivably be able to drop him and then pick him up again during his bye if you want too.

Biscuit, I'd go Luck and then Corey Davis at WR, especially if it's PPR. He's led his team in targets just about every week so he's pretty much the only one getting consistent looks in that offense. It's just a mediocre offense. I still feel like Lockett is a risky play but he's been killing it so far so he's not a bad pickup. I'd also consider trading Ebron for WR/RB. Burton may not be as consistent as Ebron has been but he's still getting looks and is a redzone threat too. The absolute wasteland that is the TE position this year means having two quality TE's is pretty valuable imo. The fact that Ebron blew up last week and that Burton already had his bye means that if you could get something good for Ebron, I'd do it and plug in Burton for the rest of the season. There's also no telling how the targets are going to shake out when Doyle gets back.

The problem is that I've talked to seven of the other guys in my league (Which, admittedly, leaves two), and aside from the guy that I was trying to swing some form of Carson for Fuller with (he got cold feet and is no longer interested in trading at all even though it makes literal zero sense) the only responses I got were "Nah, not interested in trading" or legitimately insulting offers like Conner/Gurley/Allen for bench fodder. One of the remaining two is my opponent this week, which is a huge psychological barrier. The last one has a WR situation probably even worse than mine (Cooper, Edelman, Davis and Robinson, and I'm pretty sure I'd have to pay through the nose for Cooper/Edelman on name value even though I think both are massively overrated) <_<

Right. The only thing stopping me from playing him this week is that he just got an x-ray on his foot and he won't be at 100%. And him not being at 100% makes me afraid that Calvin Ridley won't get the ball as much. If Luck wasn't playing a bum team like the Jets, I'd probably end up risking it though.

I've also heard that Winston doesn't give the ball to Desean Jackson either, which also worries me.

I don't think I'll be giving Davis a shot this week either because the Ravens D will probably lock him down hard.

And @MysteriousStan, I looked over my options for getting Ebron to somebody, but I don't see any appealing trade options for people who would need a decent TE like him.

I couldn't either. That's why literally as soon as I noticed, I made the play for him.

I'm convinced 80% of the league doesn't know that the full transaction list for the league is viewable though (As opposed to just the most recent ~6 Yahoo shows on the main league page) judging from the fact I was able to get Peterson too <_<

There's also the fact that I'm playing Standard, which greatly diminishes White's value (Even though he's still really solid here)

Honestly, looking at the draft results, dude wasn't even drafted. Which shocks me (And also makes it just as much my fault he was unowned for as long as he was). I'm guessing its just a combinationation of what I already said and the fact that people just assume he'd be drafted/owned so he gets no real hype.

Because nobody in my league fucking trades, so nobody looks at anybody else's rosters to notice these things.

Right now I think all I can really do as far as looking forward and improving my team is find my bye week filler plays for Luck and Kelce.

Barring injury or something of that nature, I'm just in cruise control. My rank out of 10 for scoring each week so far goes 9th (oops), 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 1st. Noteable additions to my team that happened after that week 1 flop: Bears D, OBJ, Michel, Ingram.

Oh yeah, you have Ravens D. I don't like starting players against my own defense so changing my mind on Davis. Go with Ridley. That Bucs secondary is god awful. Ridley has another blown up potentially regardless of whether Ryan plays or not.

Hm. That's too bad. I guess you could try trading him to someone who doesn't necessarily need a TE. Or wait till the Byes start coming in and find someone desperate for TE.

Speaking of work leagues, my coworker and I were kind of joking with another coworker before the draft. It's her first time playing fantasy and she's a huge Vikings fan and more specifically a giant Thielen fan. So we were joking that she'd draft him in the first round and while she didn't do that she did get him in the 2nd I think. I think I'm just gonna go with dropping Stafford and rolling out Mayfield. Given how silly the rest of my league has been w.r.t waiver activity there's a decent chance that either Stafford is still there come week 11 or somebody drops a better QB in exchange for a position player bye week filler.

Half the league is also doubling up on kickers/defenses (or both! Mostly both even), so their benches are a lot less deep than they could be. Not unrealistic to think that somebody's 'backup' QB hits the wire and acts as a perfectly servicable one week fill in.

I'm also gonna wait for waivers to clear before moving. To begin with, I have #10 priority because I jumped on Peterson, but even if I didn't I'd be utterly shocked if Mayfield was picked up given everybody else already has their QBs. And if he (or Winston) is picked up, well, I wasn't going to get him even with a waiver claim <_<
