This is a good thing. I have a feeling if he played today, he would've gone the same way as Fournette when he tried to rush back.

Yeah, that's the standard practice. Unfortunately for me, the team I own Michel on is flexing a WR every week, so that isn't really a viable option.

It's a good thing because I need him to be the borderline-RB1 I drafted him as once the wheels fall off the James Conner train!

I sub out Geronimo Allison because he's questionable and playing Monday night, and I can't risk him not playing. So I put in Quincy Enunwa, who gets injured and stripped on his first catch, and is now giving me -0.60 points. I literally would have been better with Allison if he didn't play.

I have been blighted again this week with Calvin Ridley getting one full quarter of play. I feel like this has happened every single week for me with having one player who only lasts for one quarter. Ugh.

I got a solid zero from Amari Cooper who I had to start because of byes and injuries, and that's likely to be the difference in that matchup. Great week.

I've only had two starting player injuries this year (Baldwin in week 1, Cook in week 2), and I count myself very fortunate for that especially after what I was put through last year.

I did also draft Alshon Jeffrey knowing he was hurt but would be back, don't regret that one bit.

Feels good after a few poor choice of starters week and last week where my stats were utter garbage to get a week where currently I'm the highest scoring team (though might not necessarily be the highest at the end, I don't have many players left).

Someone offered me OBJ + Bengals D for Trey Burton + Bears D (I have the Jets D too). I accepted but I'm like pretty certain it's going to get vetoed

So far this year has been pretty bad for me. Scored highly in early weeks but lost anyway. Now had injuries go against me so I'm like 2-4 in my money leagues but have second highest points in both leagues

It would take something pretty fucking exceptional during SNF for me to have a shot in my main money league this week. Sucks too because I'm playing a guy I'm tied for first with.

Also I'm trying to work out what the fuck ESPN is talking about on this Bears/Dolphins OT

Yeah, it wasn't a scoring play. He fumbled what would have been the game winner to the other team. They went down the field and missed the gw fg. Then miami made a fg as time expired to win.

Even with Kupp effectively going out as early as he did and Mayfield doing me no favors, I'm projected to come within 5-10 points of the top score in the league (After having the top score last week by 30+). I'll only be in 2nd place though, and that only because I did the dumb of playing Shady over Conner week 1 and losing to the guy currently in first

I think you're right to be. My gut instinct is that a shootout is inevitable and I'd rather have White (Even with the 2pt disadvantage) because of it.

(And that's assuming standard. I'd go so far as to say that you're straight done if PPR barring a miracle)

Half PPR. They basically scored the same amount last week but White has been generally better so I'm not liking my chances. =/

It's one of those that's just plausible enough to not give up hope. Michel could easily break 20 and you never know when Kelce might go off for 100 yards and 2 TDs. And Rodgers could flop and put up 10 even with a decent game, who knows.

Before week 1, I put together a list of all the picks in my league's draft relative to their ADP.

I sent out a message to our league with the top 10 "best deals" of our draft. Michel was by far the biggest bargain, going like 86 picks later than his ADP or something like that.

At the time I sent it out I was trying to give them some perspective on what the numbers really meant and I said something like "the first 6-7 rounds have more weight, so just because Sony Michel was the best value, he's still probably not a league winner by any means"

A few weeks later the owner dropped him because he needed to fill a spot for an injury. I scooped him up for $1. Lol.

It wasn't malicious or devious of me at the time. I was just kind of talking straight numbers (and burkhead wasn't on IR yet).

Well like I said he was by far the biggest bargain. He was 8 rounds later than ADP. The next best was like 4 rounds after ADP.

He didn't play the preseason at all, Burkhead wasn't hurt, and people associate NE RBs with unpredictability so it's not that shocking to me that he went overlooked.

Oh, yeah, I guess most drafts do not go so long that "8 rounds later than adp" would be much later than 7th round adp. Didn't fully think that one through mb

I went on to lose that by 14 lol

So after that 2nd Michel TD I thought that I was going to cruise to another 3-0 week. In a shocking twist in my main league I not only won the Michel/White battle but instead of it being a 2nd highest score losing to the best score of the week, it was a 2nd lowest score (me) beating the lowest score of the week. Lucky me!

Work league I'm up 47 while he still has Jamaal Williams, Jimmy Graham, and that 49ers fullback. Feeling pretty okay about that one.

But what the hell happened with Gostkowski? Thought I was going to win my B8 league matchup but that dude went insane. Unless Breida and Kittle don't end up playing tomorrow night, I really doubt my 4 point lead is going to hold. All because I started the Bears D instead of the Ravens D. Hometown team letting me down twice today. =/

I'm also highly likely to lose thanks to Bears D, so I feel ya. If they'd just put up their lowest score of the year prior to this week, I'd need Rodgers to stay under 16 as opposed to 4. Buuuut that's fantasy. Yay.
