Natsuhi claims that Shannon is the only other person who knows her favorite season is Fall. Which Natsuhi then takes to mean Shannon is involved with That Man in some way. That's interesting, considering I've thought Shannon could be the culprit several times before. Especially if "Shannon" and "Sayo" could reasonably be considered to be two different people. I also think Shannon is the one who could most easily dress up as Beatrice to fool people like Maria. What I really lack for this theory is a solid motive for her to do these things. Is being loyal to Kinzo enough? Maybe sometimes, Eva told her she could never marry George which drove her mad?

But now the mystery is in an interesting position because I know Natsuhi has nothing to do with this murder (unless some massive unreliable narrator stuff is going on here). If That Man really exists, were they able to somehow lure Hideyoshi to this room or was it just random luck? Maybe he is part of the group, but then who could mask their voice such that Natsuhi couldnt tell who they were?

Well I was very close to the end when I left off!

It's funny, for as good as this episode was I feel very odd about it. I think a lot of stuff became muddled here, and many of the bigger questions were sidelined. It's like, I'm enjoying what I'm seeing but I'm usually left with a feeling of "eh, I'll get back to it when I can" instead of an edge-of-my-seat need to see what happens next. As much as I like Dlanor, I feel like all the supernatural stuff has become so abstract that at this point I have very little stake in it besides wanting to see Battler take them down (an even I'm feeling is less and less likely to ever happen). I liked the focus on Natsuhi, and in fact I think this is a sort of mirror to the first episode?

Erika turns out to be pretty interesting. She's literally a character, a manufactured person created for the sole purpose of being the 'detective'. It's as if a detective from a novel was transported into the 'real' world, and all the conveniences of storytelling that a detective character would get is given to her as this supernatural power.

It's been mentioned before, but now it's been confirmed that Beatrice has always wanted her mystery to be solved. Though if Battler CAN solve it remains to be seen. It would seem to me that a lot of this is leading towards Battler learning about this whole 'sin' thing, and if this sin means so much to Beatrice then perhaps this whole thing is about getting Battler to understand the truth.
