I think all 3 cards that were nerfed deserved to be hit, even if they were not necessarily the underlying reasons for the problems with the game state.

You can still Togwaggle without Azalina, you just naturalize to fill their hand. I can certainly see the argument for including Azalina, though.

I don't have a problem with Quest Rogue because no one seems to play it between 20-15, so I never see it myself. Since the expansion I think I've played it once? The only time I even remember playing against it was when I won in fatigue, because it was such a strange way to beat that deck.

Half of the games I play are one of three decks: 25 Card Druid, Odd Rogue or Hunter With Absolutely Perfect Cube Draw. I'm full on 100% Ulti conspiracy theory when it comes to that deck, I honestly believe I've never played against a Cube Hunter that had a poor draw. Or an average draw. It's always the nuts.

I just figured it out the hard way. You can basically never win with Mechathun if she's in your hand, and if you draw both with Melon you're screwed.

Ahh, yeah, hadn't thought of that, that makes sense.

I mean, they nerfed a card everyone was playing and the best counter to Quest Rogue. I dont think it really changed much to the overall meta

Well, went 10-2 with my free arena run. I was like 8-0, but I had two giggling inventors in the deck, and they got nerfed mid run :/. Leaving it unfinished to get the free arena ticket, though.

Yeah, I legit have been struggling a lot with Cube Hunter at rank 4-5. I've actually taken to leaving their eggs up, because in the long run while a 1 mana 5/5 is a tempo swing, I can handle a 5/5 eventually. I can't handle a cubed Witchwood Grizzly with Play Dead on the cube. That's like...54 health worth of stuff. I want the Play Deads already used before cube comes out. I don't think any of the decks I've been playing frequently have a winning record against Cube Hunter though.

From what I understand, decks with winning records are like...hyper aggro, which I don't play that often, and Hadronox taunt druid, which I don't have crafted.

Hmm...checking Tempostorm for matchups...Supposedly it's weak to Quest Rogue, Subject 9 Hunter, Even Warlock, and Odd Rogue. Only one of those I have currently built and ready to queue is Odd Rogue, and I just have not had results with Odd Rogue recently. (I feel like the fact that I don't have Leeroy is holding the deck back--lots of games where the opponent stabilizes at low life).

Although...Deathrattle Hunter ran 2x Giggling, so it's probably more vulnerable to aggro now.

On the post-nerf meta...one deck that I can't figure out how to salvage right now is tempo evolve shaman. It leaned really really hard on Giggling Inventor. Evolving Giggling. Triggering Giggling into Fungalmancer with Shudderwock. I mean, it's probably a deck that still considers running giggling at 7, but realistically I think it just dies as a deck. It's tempting to cut Giggling due to being bad now. And once you cut Giggling, Fungalmancer starts looking worse. And if you cut those two, evolve effects start getting worse. I think the deck either sucks it up and runs giggling at 7, or just falls apart.

Collins, currently top 3 in the gold rush even just had another 12 win arena run. Sadly he only got 255 gold for as measly increase of 105. (Druid + Rogue hp)

His next draft though? 4 legendaries. Another 12 win run hype?? (Warrior + mage hp)

You only need to watch the final 3 turns. His Lich King came down at the perfect time, but I figured I had a chance when I topdecked Rexarr. I ended up not playing around his spellstone and killed his Lich King, which meant that my only out at that point was like a 1/15 Kill Command draw, UNTIL he decided to heal himself with an Auchenai on the board, putting himself at 3 life which ended up being exact lethal with my bow after killing the Lich King with a poisonous, charge Zombeast.

So...I'm missing most of the key pieces of deathrattle hunter (Shaw, Kathrena). The deck still intrigued me, though, so I had been experimenting with it since boomsday came out. Running stuff like Fireworks Tech and Mechanical Whelp and Mecharoo. I also had the secret package with spellstone. It...didn't work out so great. I dropped the Mech Welps for Savannah Highmanes, cause I found I usually wanted to cube those more than I wanted to cube 7/7 mechs anyway.

I eventually tried to make a list closer to the meta list, dropping secrets for Keleseth, and since I was short on 4 drops Sardonite Chain Gang. This was still underwhelming. I put in Witchwood Grizzlies, and if they lived, and got cubed they were great; kind of hit and miss, though. From watching the tournament last week I saw something interesting though--against zoo, someone played a Tar Creeper, and then cubed the tar creeper, and this was backbreaking and caused them to win, so I took out Chain Gangs and put in Tar Creepers. It's...performing solidly. Weak cards in this list right now are...Zilliax. Not really blown away by it now that all the mechs are gone. Low 4 drop count is also kind of a concern. Maybe replace Zilliax with 1x Defender of Argus?

Anyway, deck's alright. It's sort of like the meta deathrattle hunter decks, except with less lategame, but teched really heavily against aggro (aggro decks being the deck's bad matchups before). Which...I think makes it a deck that doesn't have particularly polarized matchups, so that's cool.

Well you could add 200 of those reliably by going to 10 cards in deck each time first. But then you could only add 60 with Tess if your deck was empty (and still at least 1 elekk left in play. For a theoretical max of 290 without any other adding effects.

But you would need to be up against druid or something to pull enough Draw spells to dig through that without hitting the hard turn limit. Although priest might be better so they could archbishop for 60 cards. Not sure how you would get enough Draw though. Lots of PW:S maybe.

Actually druid is fine. They can run Cho and use espionage as well so you get all the nourish and wild growth and UI you need and they get the cards they need to not deck out.

Edit:. Now I really want to try to play 300+ cards before the turn limit.

Be an opposing class hero.

Every time you play Tess you will draw your entire deck, put 20-40 cards back into your deck, and bounce Tess to your hand. (You can do this with Shadow Step too, but this means playing no Rogue creatures which might be hard).

Although...mmm, guess you can't really play Valeera the Hollow with this plan, cause then you will overwrite the opposing class hero and not bounce Tess the second time. There's also a risk of burning Tess if you copy Myra's before Vanish....

my only issue with myra's is that you don't physically see all the cards get drawn/burned. You draw until your hand is full (which is this scenario will only be a card or two) and then it does the myra's animation and destroys the rest.

Similarly you will not get the minion bounced back to your hand if your hand is full from myras. At least if your CoH to draw 14 cards you get to watch all 14 cards get burned. If both decks have been properly espionaged to capacity you and your opponent can play lash + coH (draws 2, burns 12 cards), and then play 2 cards before ending your turn to make room for the new lash+CoH from cho.

I would probably throw in 2x Fungalmancer if the deck doesn't already run them, though. Just...good against spreading plague, gets minions out of the 1 health range and into the 5 attack range. And ladder right now seems to be filled with idiots who think spreading plague is all the defence they need against aggro. I nearly always beat those decks with my current variants on decks, but yeah, highly recommend extra pump right now.

You know, I don't care very much what you say about skill in hearthstone. It's not a game I take all that seriously myself (seeing as I spent a month playing mostly Dragon Hunter).

Mmm...I don't usually see counts that high. Ancient traditions like old Jewish law, Cree religions, and Indonesian islands are typically around 5-6.

I mean...I guess this depends what you define as "elective". So I mean...yeah, if someone is just like "I want this" then yeah, they should pay out of pocket. If three medical professionals are like "this patient needs this", I think it should probably be covered?

Hell...even when it comes to nose jobs, they can be done to fix breathing defects (so that you don't die in your sleep from sleep apnea, the thing that killed Carrie Fisher). Or they can be done to make someone look prettier. One of these would be covered by insurance, the other one definitely not.

If you put your child on puberty blocking hormones at some insanely young age like 7, I think that's child abuse and most parents agree with me on that.

Mmm...7 sounds really weird to me yeah. Puberty starts around 11 or 12 for most kids, so I dunno why they would need blockers five years before then.

I guess, exceptions for kids who have unusual onset of puberty at age 7 (happens to 1 in 5000 kids apparently). Regardless of whether that kid has a problem with their gender or not I'd be ok delaying their puberty for a while to give them a chance to grow up, which seems to be what this webMD article recommends:
