it's difficult with a series like this that has continuity but also has a largely different cast from game to game

Man, these games are so much fun with the benefit of hindsight. The Gaulem Room (top tier VLR puzzle room, by the way) in particular is loaded with stuff like that because it's so clear that Luna knows a lot more than she should.

okay so I'm looking into buying tickets for this Distant Worlds performance in Nashville and I have no idea where I want to sit because I'm not sure what's considered a good seat or a bad seat here (other than relative prices, I guess, but they're all generally about the same)

I don't know, this isn't exactly something I have knowledge in. The only concert I think I've been to is a baroque one for a music course. >_>

Assuming you are like me and don't have a particularly good ear for music, the seating probably doesn't matter that much. I guess there are still obvious things like the closer you are, the better you can see the performers and you don't want a seat with an obstructed view. I imagine similar rules to sports game seating apply (but this is just a guess because I've never been to one >_>).

The concert also plays video on a large screen similar to a movie theatre. As a result I usually tried to get a seat closer to the center. I don't know if the screen will be hard to see from something like the front row. It probably depends on the venue.

Steins;Gate 0 complete

I think there's supposed to be an OVA at some point, but we'll deal with that when we get there. Anyway, I am prepared to call the anime superior to the game. This last episode was amazing. It's Okabe at his best (although he was at his best in the last episode of the original, too, so yeah). I'm kind of impressed that they made it work while taking into account the seeming contradiction the Steins;Gate movie has with S;G0 the game at one point, so it all fits together pretty well now. Poor Reyes gets the short end of the stick in the anime, but eh, she kinda sucks anyway, so no big loss.

Nothing to add to the character rankings since Kurisu's been on them from the start.

Finished the first half (?) of 6-5. Apollo was great, its crazy how good hes gotten as a character over the past two games after being a real dweeb in AA4. Im glad they didnt give up on him.

FF Type-0: Tower of BS beated. yo square design your bonus dungeons better. Sending a bunch of enemies way past the level cap (Level 128) just makes them do an obscene amount of damage and become massive HP sponges.

V3's pretty fun. I like DR2 more, but V3 is solid.

Also, not sure if you or user SaveEstelle are interested but if you guys want the PS4 Cold Steel I and II the pre-orders are up. That's going to be the only physical version of either for PS4. Comes with a steelbook, soundtrack selection CD, 50 mira coin (CS1), and Ouroboros pin (CS2). Also all DLC, most of the PC improvements (added English voicing, turbo mode, etc.)

Not sure if it'll be limited in quantity or anything so that's why I'm mentioning it.

Yeah, the thing for me isn't necessarily that I think UDG is bad. It's just extremely boring. I don't even know how far I am into it, but I just hope it's not a long game.

I suppose I do still owe a debt to LotM, so maybe I should go ahead and pay that off.

Part of me wants to take it because I don't think Cohen will keep it up, and I could use some WR depth since Fitzgerald's been hurt all year. I don't have much use for Lynch though, especially since the Raiders are so bad.

Probably won't get very far before switching back to DQ11 (the only reason I switched is that all towns just updated dialogue and that's more reading than I care to do without a break...), but this is already looking better than the base game due to the massive upgrade in main character

I don't think I've bothered with Oracle in a while! You'd think I would considering I already do percentages for the crew, but I always forget to post in the oracle topic halfway through the first round and then just give up.

I wonder how much the 2x registered user votes will skew the percentages, if at all.

It's hard to say. I don't think registered voters will skew THAT differently from unregistered voters (aside from rallies, of course), so I wouldn't expect it to make a huge difference. It might be able to swing a really close match though.

Yeah, I just wonder if like you had Link vs. I dunno...Laharl for example. If most of Laharl's votes come from 'hardcore' registered users, then maybe he gets 20% instead of 15% or something. Or maybe it just means Link gets 95%!

I'm not sure if it sways any matches either, but it will be interesting to see if there's certain characters the more dedicated user base has affinity for.

My theory is that the characters with good board votes will get a small boost from it since the board vote is almost all registered users, so that would be primarily Nintendo and then stuff like Phoenix Wright.
