I got Stardew for Switch

Saved up a lot of money before I quit and don't have any debt. Since my last lease was up and I live with my parents now (feel free to make fun of me, it sucks as much as you think it does) I don't really have expenses besides food and stuff. I've offered to pay some of the bills but I guess they don't mind.

I mean I could probably get some crappy non-tech job but it seems almost pointless because I'll still not be able to afford to live on my own. It would be nice to be making money I guess but I'll never be happy unless I have some kind of good long-term outlook.

I don't know how people just go and work at the grocery store or whatever straight out of high school, that seems like such a miserable life to me, but I at least tried to avoid that by going to college and working a "good" job for several years, even though it seems like that'll probably be my life too now

I'm impressed with how much you saved, but I guess your bills are pretty low now. I don't really have any advice with the job. I don't know if a long work gap is any worse than a non-tech job. Don't feel bad, the only jobs I've ever gotten were my dad's store and this job, where the HR manager is my dad's friend.

And I know people say "That's why you shouldn't have quit your job" but I felt like I had no other fucking choice at that point, I just had to try something. Either I'm miserable in that job or miserable without it. At least sometimes I'm reminded of how much I hated it and feel better to just not be doing it even though now I'm not doing anything better

You could be a mover or do warehouse work. Those can often pay well enough to have your own place if you have no debt. Publix warehouse pays up to like 22 an hour where I'm at

I can get on board with this. Well I don't think CarGo and Parra are signed with the team anymore (...yet ) but the sentiment is right

Honestly though how many guys could you trade Ian Desmond for and not have it be a good trade for the Rockies? Assuming whoever takes him pays a significant portion of his salary. Only guys in the Pujols/Chris Davis tier and maybe the Hosmer tier are worse contracts. I guess the lesson is never give big money to a first baseman
