do you guys ever think about how much toilet paper you save by pooping at work? I go at work pretty much every day and it really adds up. Doing wonders for my TP budget

Most of my pooping is done on the clock. Like they say, if you're good at something, dont do it for free.

My left joycon has the issue where the lock is slightly chipped and it won't lock well. Why the fuck is a new joycon $70?

That sucks but how often do you use it in portable mode? Cause I don't think the controller dock part is really necessary in TV mode. It's definitely a little weird at first to try holding them separately but now it's my preferred way, give it a shot.

Mine still has an issue with the left stick drifting and sometimes it helps to blow it out but that seems to get less and less effective over time. I probably should've gone with a second set of joycons instead of a pro controller

They are highlighting the offensive line/defensive line battle in this UVA Miami game so the main camera is not full screen so they can have a smaller screen of just the line. Despite the obvious fact that the line is the focus of every play on the TV broadcast to begin with.

We beat Miami because of a late hit for a free first down, followed by a roughing the kicker for a free first down, so we ran out the clock. Miami is really not a very disciplined team.

Nathan MacKinnon has six goals in five games. Pretty good, but freaking Auston Matthews has 10 in 6

I keep seeing insanely high scoring NHL games. Two 2-8 games today. And the Caps won the season opener 6-0. Play some defense, hockey players.

You might be able to send it in to Nintendo and get it fixed. I'm not sure cuz I've been fortunate in that regard but I think they were giving out free fixes on that at least for a while

I've said this before, but even when we still had the Rams there was a really weird culture surrounding the NFL in this city. Everyone had a favorite team, it was just very rarely the Rams. Anyway all your preamble to say a guy I knew in high school posted a picture of himself with the Ray Lewis statue in Baltimore and wrote "Legend." Pretty cool, and it also made me laugh that they have a Ray Lewis statue

I won't pretend to know everything about baseball but that Red Sox loss last night was the kind of loss that portends an ass beating in a series. They couldn't stop walking people and the Astros have better pitching anyway. So what I'm saying is that one game has convinced me that we're going to see the Astros repeat. Probably by beating the Dodgers again.

I spent like $20 on touchtubes last night. It was awesome. I played Because I Got a High by Afroman and everyone loved it.

They kicked us off touchtunes. They put an out of order sign on there and it stopped playing my requests but it was working perfectly until then

Btw I did want to say that yes I love shitting at work. I get paid for it as well as saving on TP. It's a huge win.

The 10 minutes are terrible. Winning the coin toss is so important now because you get 2 possessions to your opponent's 1 so often. I know Packers Vikings and Bears Dolphins both followed that script.

And there's been a lot, but there were just as many in 2015 through this point and ties weren't an issue.

I feel like JRPGs are too long. I argued they aren't but I think I was wrong. I finished all the chapter ones of Octopath Traveler and now I'm kinda burnt out on it. The out of combat options really limit your party setup too because you want one of each.

It feels wrong but I'm pretty much on the Chiefs bandwagon at this point, at least for the AFC. I don't know who else there has a shot at beating New England in the playoffs. It sucks cause KC is the Patriots' kryptonite but they always just lose to the Steelers (or worse), who then get owned by the Pats every time

Oh if the Ravens make it to the playoffs they've had some success too but I don't like rooting for them

Playoff King David Price at it again

I just looked at his stats and was reminded he was on the Tigers for a while. It's crazy that those Tigers teams had him, Scherzer, Verlander and JDM at the same time at one point. Of course pretty much all those guys except Price got better after leaving, but it must suck being a Tigers fan having that long run of success with no title and a bunch of your ex-players still kicking ass.

I almost mentioned Porcello as well but I guess he isn't as good as I initially thought

JD Martinez was pretty beast with them. It's also crazy that he was an Astro and they traded him for pennies.

Maybe these GMs should play fantasy baseball, because I realized how good JD Martinez was when he first got to the Tigers because he was putting up nice numbers for my team. I never hear the media promote him or talk about his contributions or anything. It's like everyone decided he's not a star.

I hope Belichick coaches for a while after Brady retires so people will realize he's a system QB. I was thinking about all of Brady's former backups that looked great there and then went elsewhere and busted hard. If Belichick retires soon after Brady people will never know.

If people believe that Derek Jeter was the best hitter of his generation there is no possible way of undoing the pro-Brady narrative.

How can there simultaneously be a narrative that Brady is the GOAT because of rings, but LeBron is also the GOAT in spite of rings? Okay, maybe those narratives are pushed largely by opposite people, but there's probably some overlap. And using rings to judge NBA players makes way more sense than NFL players, though it's still flawed.

Dan Marino was one of the greatest of all time, but apparently Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson were both better than him according to Brady fans.

In another note from this game, Mahomes reminds me a lot of Rodgers. Good Rodgers, not this season Rodgers.

I think you have to give Brady credit for sticking around for so long and he did have plenty of great statistical seasons but you have to wonder if he would've washed out after like three years if he ended up anywhere else

Guys like Rodgers, Manning, Brees, even Cam and pre-injury Luck, I feel like they would've been good just about anywhere
