I still stopped after Flash season 2 and haven't continued. I didn't like how they were handling all the time travel nonsense. And Barry kept making stupid decisions.

Time travel is a big thing in season 3, nearly irrelevant in 4, and kind of important in 5.

Unfortunately Barry will always make dumb decisions (in battle at least), because otherwise he would be absurdly powerful. Any speedster who knows what they're doing could practically rule the world.

Yeah I meant in non-battle times.

But honestly, I just can't get past the feeling of the time travel being garbage.

The reason everything is happening, is because that dude from the first season killed his mom. I think it's stupid that going back and not letting him even enter the house so he literally doesn't do anything doesn't reset the timeline to how it's supposed to be. After beating emo Barry, he should have been more than strong enough to stop the yellow dude from doing anything and changing anything. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me feel like things can be prevented so time can flow normally.

Iirc it's basically if his mom doesn't die the right circumstances never happen where he becomes the flash. Like if his mom doesn't die his dad won't go to prison their for he will never decide to get into CSI which is where the lighting struck him

Time travel stuff is always weird but they are trying to take stuff from the comics I believe but not completely do the same thing either.

If Barry saved his mom from getting killed, none of the events of the show would have happened as we know them (or at all). The problem is, being part of an established cross-continuity, that can't be allowed to happen.

When Eddie Thawne killed himself to erase Eobard Thawne, that should have reset everything, but it was preserved when Barry stopped that anomaly at the end of the first season.

As for why Barry didn't save his mom, he knew everything would change and decided that he liked the life he has. He later changes his mind and does save her, and it still turns out to be a bad idea. And then things got even worse when he resets things.

Hmm I thought in the show eobard explained that Barry would lose his powers if he didn't allow him to set the timeline right by killing his mother.

One interesting thing I read about reverse flash though the show doesn't touch on. He will always remember changes to the timeline where as everyone elses memory will eventually change to suit the timeline.i guess Barry only remembers if he was the one who caused it but the show doesn't seem to be consistent on that as he was forgetting things in flash point.

Eobard though supposedly remembers things even if he had nothing to do with the timeline changing.

Im pretty sure it's because it's cheaper since the actor for Wells is already on the show. Whether the find some B's to explain it remains to be seen.

I love that actor though just in this show alone he's proven he can play a large variety of roles. And it impressed me because im sure many actors have to get into a role where as he's done several in one episode alone.

But for thawne I do prefer the other guy for looks and story reasons

It doesn't haven't be constant. That's one thing about currently live action super hero stuff I hate. The constant need to see the actors face if it's not a fight or otherwise action scene. So you could have both vibrating face and not is what im getting at.

felicity has already changed, they just stopped talking about it. she kidnapped the silencer and wanted to torture her.

i like how cisco and caitlin said their number one rule is to not force a cure. a couple episodes later and barry says he wants to force a cure, they agree without a second thought....

In a way, Cicada is the opposite of The Thinker. DeVoe was always so many steps ahead of Team Flash that the writers couldn't think if any satisfying way to defeat him. And now Cicada is in no way a genuine threat, yet no one seems to be able to stop him.

I know it's not Arrowverse, but I am rewatching Agents of SHIELD since season 6 is happening uh in summer I think.

was Carlos Valdes, aka Cisco Ramon. There also happen to be whispers that he may leave the show, which would be devastating because his character is like 50 percent of the show. He's the comic relief, the geek knowledge, the tech guy, and his vibe powers are indispensable.

Yeah cw has been annoying me with that. I put up with mid season finale shit cause they tend to try and make those episodes better than normal. But this random 2-4 weeks of reruns for no reason is just bs

IDK I liked legends just for the fact it's a place to dump characters too good to do away with but not important enough to keep as a reoccurring role on the show they are from. Mad they killed off snart though. I loved his character

I do like Legends, but I'm starting to feel it's run its course.

Snart would have been a fantastic character to keep, but he did get a lot of character development the way he went out; maybe more than any other character on the show.

I think Chase was better than Diaz. Chase managed to break Oliver's spirit. Diaz just somehow manages to beat everybody or escape anything thrown at him, despite literally just being some guy.

Damn dc seems to like bringing back actors they used before. Flash dad being the guy who played flash in the 90s series some woman I forget the name of from mecury labs was also from the 90s show, I've been told the guy who plays Ray Palmer played Superman once.

Side note I absolutely loved the nod to the 90s series when they got dude to throw on that horrible ass fake muscle suit from the 90s show and had say he was the Earth 90 flash

So John Cryer isn't quite as bad at being Lex Luthor as I imagined he would be; he does put his own unique spin on it. But I still don't think it was a great choice.

Also, I just read that Hawaii Five-O may be a part of the Arrowverse. A criminal from one episode shared the same name as a criminal from an episode of Arrow.

Damn I missed it. Don't generally watch Supergirl. (One of the shows im gonna wait till it's done then watch) but I wanted to catch that just to see how he did.
