How can anyone support losing rights? It doesn't make sense.

Thank goodness I live in America where we don't have to worry about such things.

I agree. Communism and Socialism are toxic ideologies as well. But there is some logic to them. They want everyone to be "equal" with no class barriers and everyone having the wealth. They see it as a utopia, which would be nice, but doesn't work in the real world.

If you do support fascism, please don't backpedal. I would like a conversation with such an individual to try to understand this mindset.

Something I ask myself all the time. Even today we have people practically begging the government to take away more rights.

They take severe issue with individuals wanting to live differently from how they picture the world should be. Check out any fascist reddits, you'll see the same points repeated:

-Women are pressured to be career girls, when all they really want is to be stay at home moms, and can only be fulfilled by that.

-Culture is a higher ideal that gives meaning to life, and involves a lot of homogeneity. If you feel differently, your life has no meaning.

-Nature is very important. No one agrees on what nature is.

The state of the left when reaching a new low in thinking respectable conservatism, fiscal responsibility, immigration control and promotion of family values and meritocracy instead of institutionalised victimisation = fascism.
No limits to the abysmal ignorance of what fascism means, eh ?

Nobody supports Facism except the 12 neonazis that actually exist.

Meanwhile socialists are just as eager to take our rights away and they actually have a sizeable platform on mainstream media supported by liberals.

Reading what Twitter communists say they'll be doing after the revolution is hilarious. They're all convinced they'll be high level party officials, or uniform designers, or sending people to the gulags. Nobody thinks they'll be the poor fucker toiling in the fields all day before spending three hours in line to get a loaf of stale bread.

Uh no one is becoming alt right or radical right because of tax-funded healthcare. In fact you'll find plenty of conservatives who would be in favor of tax-funded healthcare if it was coupled with cleaning up wasteful spending across the federal government so that it could be more easily funded.

It may have something to do with the alarming number of people calling for actual violent revolution a la Marx.

The actual party members of a fascist party would typically expect to receive reward for participating in the system, usually implicitly at the expense of others. Fascism is powered by rewards for loyalty to the party and military, and it can be an easier way to be elevated to a comfortable place in life than in a free society

That's a pretty good indicator of how close to feudalism any given system generally is.
Every political system decays back into feudalism eventually.

As far as I know, almost no governments have decayed back into Feudalism, and Fascism is far too centralized to ever be compared to Feudalism, which is an extremely decentralized form of government.

Okay, the tendency is to decay into feudalism, but they're almost always replaced by something else before that actually happens.

I'm just pretty sure Feudalism has nothing to do with this.
