I've seen parts of all of em, but this would probably only be considered my 9th by purists. I missed most of the 2002 contest. I filled out a bracket IIRC but I hardly voted in any of the matches. Mario vs Cloud and Mario vs Link are the only ones I remember voting in for sure

I don't know this, but I feel like L-Block kept me from winning $100 in 2007. I still won $50, but intuition and bias insists that tetramino cost me money.

Don't think I've come to this board since everyone whined about Reddit/Draven ruining the contest but damn is it always fun to drop one during one of these.

Even though I've never done very well in one of these, I still remember vigorously smashing F5 in the first few contests when I was a kid before the 5 minute update thing started. Don't play video games nearly as much now and hard to believe I'll be 30 in a few months man do I still remember stumbling on GameFAQs back in like 2000 when trying to find a Golden Chocobo guide. I've gone though a shit-ton of accounts but it's always nice to see familiar names like the TC.

... no! Hellsing and Van Helsing are different things... although I used to be so hyped when I heard Van Helsing announced thinking it was an adaptation of Hellsing :(

Hellsing TV is the short 13-episode run from 2001 that splits apart from the manga to tell its own conclusive thing.

Came back as a 10-ep 50min OVA series Hellsing Ultimate from 2006-2012 that could follow the now completed manga.

man my waits for each new episode of Hellsing Ultimate were killer, as the original series was like my first anime love as a kid along with Trigun

The chef is strong in these two. Pretty funny!

For clarity's sake: Lara Croft had the honor to chop chop Master Onion in 2002. Master "Chef" had his first match when he faced Felix in 2003.

It's nice to be remembered -- I assure you my success is not 100% though!

Draven was one of our worst shitstorms though, and I hear ya on not getting to play much now. I'm barely making time for a Life is Strange 2 episode.
