I controversially unbanned Corrik a while back at the protest of literally everybody. I banned him again when he started talking about some discord clique he knows nothing about. Why does it bother him, being banned from a place where nobody wants him?

If a topic about preferring a game on a console is a straw of any kind then that is humorous to say the least.

I don't really care I was banned. I just noticed it the other day when I popped on and laughed about it because it seems so silly.

That said, it does prove Steiner wrong about how the channel does not ban people based on his own opinions. Which proves my initial summation maybe still in this topic itself about the willingness to ban for personal opinion to censor the channel to the liking of the person running it instead of actually providing a talking space for everyone who uses the board as was being stated during contest season.

I mean, I don't know. I very rarely use the discord. Mostly just to pm people I know privately.

I believe I stated before how I was banned and that they banned people based on their own opinions, and I was told I was never banned. That I was jokingly just kicked out of the channel and assumed I was banned.

This comment here seems to state something different which means I was actually banned prior and was unbanned. Which would align with what I initially thought that I was banned because someone was mad and unbanned when I questioned it.

Either way, I don't know!

All I know is there seems to be some animosity regarding the usage of "discord clique" after I was bashed repeatedly by Steiner. I didn't report any of his messages besides his second because I was like "hmph if he is gonna accuse me of reporting him I might as well". I thought it was funny actually. Just like I haven't reported his above comments, especially the one saying he hopes my kid has no contact with me or whatever it said. Not big on the reporting game.

However, back to where I was initially going. It always seems like a with a group of like 4-5 people that when you are in disagreement with one of them that all the sudden the others are there in force to dogpile you. Almost always. It always seems like it is none of them in the topic disagreeing with you or all of them.

I am sure it is just someone mentioning it on discord and then them going to the topic and agreeing with the similar opinions. However, it comes off as a clique that likely is in relation to discord somehow. Not some club that people pay membership dues to or some shit. I would think some are even unaware of it, but you tend to notice that coincidence moreso on the other end!

That said, Steiner said I was mistaken regarding it, and I said maybe I was out of the loop regarding it.

Don't know why Steiner reacted the way he did in that topic. Was silly to me. Maybe he is having a bad time at home or something now. Understandable if so. Many people randomly lash out of people when they are frustrated or things are upsetting them. If I can be the vessel for him to unleash his frustration and feel better, I am okay with that!

I think it is your decision to make as the person who runs the discord. You can ban whoever you wish to ban. That is your right. I am saying that exercising that right and saying you don't do that also would be a bit contradicting.

I also remember agreeing with you that the person was making pretty vulgar comments that I thought were overboard and had no place to make.

I am strongly anti-drugs also, but culling the population of everyone who uses drugs seems a bit insane, to be frank!

I think alcohol is acceptable because it is legal. I tell my cousin all the time who smokes weed I will try it out when it is legal. Lol.

Then you will say, why did you drive when over the limit then if it is illegal. Which I will reply, that if I thought I was over the limit I wouldn't have. Alcohol is the great deceiver for a reason!

I don't think Weed is particularly a harmful drug. I know it is one that is illegal, could get my fired at my job, and preclude me from getting jobs I want tho!
