Count Duckula (and it's parent series Danger Mouse) are low-budget British cartoons that weren't even good to begin with. Only appeared on Nickelodeon back in the 80's since they were cheapskates and wanted no animation then.

It only begs the question why you would even introduce the show to him, when there are MUCH better offerings.

Both shows had Launchpad McQuack (and he doesn't crash his plane every time in the latter), but I barely remember anything about Darkwing Duck to see if they made references (and I don't care about the Donald Duck Extended Universe comics, so I am not going to bother to look into that).

There was a crossover: Morgana's Dad. He just aged a bit in Darkwing ^_^;

Count Duckla was a British cartoon and Darkwing duck was a Disney cartoon. They couldn't cross over because it's two different companies and they probably didn't want to share ip money.

But it would have been cool to see Darkwing Duck style Count Duckla. I really love Count Duckla/Danger Mouse water color backgrounds. they were crazy and imaginative.
