... because since the third star wars film in the original trilogy Star Wars fans tend to hype up said films only to find them disappointing once they have watched them due to the films not meeting their unrealistic expectations. The next Star Wars film will be no different.

I remember growing up thinking it was fascinating how much time there was between Episode 6 and Episode 1. Sixteen years sounded like forever when I was 10.
Now 16 years really isn't that big of a deal. It would be like if they made a new F-Zero game for 2019. That would be 16 years since F-Zero GX which released in 2003. Here's the thing... little kids really liked the movie. New fans really liked the movie. The only people who didn't like the movie were Star Wars fans
