This guy came back to the deli, telling me he wanted our "private selection off the bone maple ham". I get one out, and he asks to see the printed label. It says "private selection maple ham" on it. He points to the one in the case and says he wants the label to say "private selection off the bone maple ham". I try to explain it to him every time, and he argues with me. Him and his wife both do this every week. The words on the package in the case say "private selection off the bone maple ham", and the words on the label on the bag I give him say "private selection maple ham".

None of our hams have a fucking bone in them you stupid dipshit. This is a deli. This is how I'm going to get fired. I cannot fathom how someone can be that stupid. I don't understand. Does anyone else find it messed up when they see an animal eating another animal more intelligent than it? I'm pretty sure a pig would recognize the piece of food moving around is the same piece of food no matter what label it has on it.
