A while ago I had intentions to make a spreadsheet showing a list of all the recurring trends of each Pokemon generation. But not only did I kinda blow my load, but I screwed up a bit, left it for a few days, and when I came back I can't even understand my own fucked up sheets. ._.

So I'm turning to CE. I may start again and use this topic as a headstart, but I wouldn't count on it.

What are the recurring trends between each Pokemon Generation?

Yeah.

I mean there's obviously the Grass/Fire/Water starters, the badass "final" legendary, the cute Mythical, the pseudo-legendary, the Legendary trio, the common mammal, the common bird, the common bug...

I had more but I completely lost track of 'em.

A new version of contests that's completely gone by next generation along with a new pointless stat raised by a dumb minigame or food that has to do with only one Pokemon's evolution so they have to come up with a new way of doing that Pokemon's evolution every fucking gen
