Can't really tell from that angle the full extent of it, but that's clear cut crown of the helmet right into the facemask of the QB. Coulda dropped the shoulders just a wee bit and avoided all helmet to helmet contact.

I don't know if I throw the flag, but I'm pretty sure I've seen worse targeting calls over the years.

It pissed me off. The helmets make contact but it's not forcible contact, and he didnt lead with the helmet, he lead with his hands. Didnt launch himself either. Are the refs gonna start ejecting teammates that headbutt each other to celebrate a big play?

But honestly its whatever. Our chances to beat Bama were very slim anyways and we have a lot of talent on the defensive side anyways. If we lose I doubt it's because we don't have him for a half.

No its not. At worst its facemask to facemask contact. Which isnt that bad, but it looks like there helmets barely even touch anyway, if at all. If that is targeting then every single tackle made can be called targeting. What are we doing here fellas
