Self-defense is fine. You can't expect anyone to be attacked and just accept it. Start a fight and you get punched. Don't get physical if you're not willing to get hit back. The guy didn't keep wailing on anyone. He was trying to leave and they weren't letting him.

There is a cultural myth where people basically believe that the average man is the DOOM Marine while the average woman is the Imp or even the human zombie.

In reality maybe the woman will just flail her arms and throw silly slaps. But maybe she will punch you right in the nose and break it, or gouge an eye out, probably accidentally, or go for the balls and leave you sterile.

Id not base a reaction on the force of the current aggression, Id base it on said aggressions intention and its possibility to escalate or get dangerous.

Having said that, you never hit a woman back, or else any bystanders will go postal on you and you *will* end in jail

All I'm saying is that we should stop raising boys with the attitude of "you should never hit a girl/woman under any circumstances" if women want true equality. More like we should be raising girls with the attitude of "don't start none there won't be none even with boys"

I personally would of ran cause I doubt this was about anything I put my pride in. But I mean he tried to restrain himself and they surrounded him pretty much painting him into a corner. I definitely wouldn't say he was a bad person for this. Plus luckily she took it like a champ and was up yelling again. Some women are actually built for it mentally and physically.

I dated a woman who was physically abusive. I also was raised to never hit a woman.

But finally I got tired of being a punching bag and I slapped her to the floor.

I'm now a firm believer in equal rights and lefts. I'm a person deserving of respect too. And I see tons of videos online where the woman escalates to violence on the man at the drop of a hat. Why is that? Why are women so quick to initiate violence in public?
