The gangster, insane after the fight, unloaded on the cops when they arrived and was gunned down. The private eye was locked in an insane asylum and never really recovered. The occultist, after the police found the party mortally wounded and my body in the swamp, was tried for murder and executed. The two women in the party were both poorly off afterwards, but let off by police as they were women and thus believed not a threat.
