This is Board 8 Extra Life!

We (users Shad, Gilded, Bane, SgtSphynx, Wigs, Paratroopa, MrSmartGuy, arti, and profDEADPOOL, with special guests KBM and Sir Cobain all in one room!) are raising money for Children's Miracle Network, a charity that distributes money to children's hospitals around the country.

All donations are tax deductible and if you can't view our stream -- 49 hours of gaming from Saturday, November 3 at 7 a.m. PT through Monday, November 5 at 7 am. PT -- please consider donating even a small amount.

OUR STREAM (BEGINNING ON SATURDAY)

We're going to be playing a slew of games, from a wide range of couch multiplayer games (Super Mario Party, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Worms, Nidhogg 2, Lethal League and so much more) to some of our all-time favorite singleplayer games (there is a list but it'll go on the project page).

We don't have the honor of hosting a wedding this year, but there will be a baby at some point! We hope to see as many of you in the chat and on discord during the 49 hours. Even one dollar helps us reach our goal!

So I don't want to steal any glory from this bunch, but I'm hoping to offer something totally different on my own stream since i'm not allowed in the country where these things happen

I'll be playing either WoW or a Final Fantasy game mostly, but I also plan to:

Race Wigs at Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Play Jackbox with Board 8 and non-Board 8 friends
Run through Super Mario 64

and I'm open to suggestions, especially accompanied by a donation.

We got a ton of awesome stuff planned, cool prizes/incentives, some neat twists, and a finale that's gonna rock your socks off. Plus, a very cool new way to play Mario Party that we did at our live show which KILLED. Very excited!

This cause is a huge deal to me and my friends, 4 of us on the crew have had kids there, and ALL of them had birth complications, some are still being affected to this day. And this hospital we're supporting saved their lives, and gave them a life to BE saved. We are eternally grateful, and hope we can give back even a fraction of what they've given us.

i think i have the most material on 8. i'd quite happily go from the start and fuck that game up a bit.

Looking forward to it! I will be there for most of Saturday, and then possibly show up again very late Sunday night to lend some energy to the final graveyard shift.

Once again my schedule lined up terribly and I can't be there in person, but I'll be there in spirit! Maybe there's a chance to get me in a couple games or voice chat.

I know first-hand how important children's hospitals are, and I sincerely hope you all take the time to at least think about making a donation. They saved my life, and they can save many more.

The more I think about it the more i feel like i might not do any WoW and mostly focus on FF8.

also, while i do very much want to do the S3&K race with wigs we never got to do last year, i'm not sure how i would stream that. it could be difficult
