yeah i've started the game like 4 times this year but then i always do when i'm depressed and don't wanna think about what to play

but i'll play it through again soon! it's like... probably 4 years since i last played all the way through. way too long.

i dont know why but i always get to the end of a final fantasy and then stop. like i got to the moon in FF4 and got to the dragons in FF9

I actually did beat FFX but that was only because i felt like i had to before I could play FFX-2 which of course i also didn't beat

Few years ago when I replayed most of the series. I beat it and liked it more than when I originally played it, but its still pretty far down the pecking order for me

Last February. Had to do a second run for a trophy i skipped and dont think that one made it to disc 2 but not even a full day prior i had beaten it yes.

It probably took me sometime into 1998 though to finish if I remember right cause I think I stalled out a little at the end, the game really just starts to drag on and on towards the end.

Did my first and only playthrough of it last December. Top-tier game imo. Im surprised that Clouds fake memories and identity ciris arent a more widespread spoiler, that was amazing and best twist in the game :o

Yeah I actually find this more interesting than the big spoiler, though I guess I'm kinda numb to the big spoiler now

it absolutely is - but the concept of killing off a main party member was the more newsworthy and thus legendary spoiler

Probably the hardest thing about replaying is the inability to use the analog. At least I couldnt when I played the physical version, but maybe they made changes when it went digital to support that?

I can sorta get where Eddvs statement comes from because by the late 2000s there were several RPGs that were of such high quality that playing something like 7 would feel kinda awkward in a lot of ways. I mean a mere 4 years later FFX was out and is a colossal world of difference in presentation. Just part of the technological gap though.
