It's only a name when referring to the abrahamaic God.

Squall! You're a federal agent. You represent the United States government. Never end a sentence with a preposition!

Obviously since He's the One and Only true G.od. Also it's "Abrahamic", not "abrahamaic", smgdh...

It isn't a name though, there is a different reason for capitalization, like they capitalize Motherland in Russia

Point is that phones shouldn't force auto-capitalization of the word which importance might be questionable for many people

Yup, when you're taking about a god it's just lowercase, but if you're talking about the God of Christianity then it capitalized.

I actually typed that out to test the automatic capitalization of God and it worked properly for me.

Do you capitalize Neverland? Being a proper noun has nothing to do with whether you believe in it or not.

Neverland is the name of the country lol it follows the same rules as capitalization of say Netherlands and it doesn't matter if its fictional. Capitalization of god has nothing to do with it once again, it has to do with religious people 'feels'

I was raised in a Christian household too. I don't edit the word to have a lowercase g and think "HA! Take THAT, nonexistent deity!"
