In game, is there a list of obtained spirits, similar to previous entries lists for Trophies earned? I really want a mechanism that promotes a "catch em all" mentality for spirits.

Yeah, in World of Light mode, there's a menu that shows all the spirits you've ever gotten. There's 1297 of them

Mine is coming the mail tonight supposedly

That Iggy fight with the wind and no swimming fucked me up so much. Even after I found a wind resist spirit I still died about a dozen times from falling in the water. Sometimes it would let me jump out but other times I would just immediately sink. Should have waited for a full wind immunity spirit but I didnt know those existed.

One weird complaint I have is that the pause screen camera is awful now >_> It doesn't even go to camera at first, you have to select it from a menu. And the camera moves so slow and doesn't lock on to anyone. How could this happen?

It now starts sooner and autocancels from a shorthop. Its frame data is perhaps comparable to Brawl but the spike hitbox is less lenient, I think.

Unlocking characters sucks

But other than that it's alright.

Holy crap, Link's Classic Mode was fucking awesome!

It's just him beating stereotypical baddies like dragons (Ridley) and witches (Bayonetta), but at the final boss, you fight OoT Ganon on top of Ganon's Castle Ruins and you have to go behind him and hit his tail just like in OoT to damage him.

I was not expecting that. That was a treat >_> I think this classic mode probably beats Melee's if there's more stuff like this for the other characters

Links Classic Mode was the first thing I did and I couldnt agree more. I was floored!

My intent was to wake up at 4AM this morning to start unlocking characters. There's an office holiday party today and I wanted to play Smash at it and have a decent selection of characters going in rather than the initial 8.

I went to bed at 8:30 last night and woke up bolt awake at midnight, without even trying. I tried to go back to sleep but then I realized I couldn't and said fuck it. Got up, turned the game on. Explored the menus a bit.

Then got a crash three times while looking through the menus.

Uninstalled and re-downloaded it. That took 90 minutes so I basically laid in my bed stressing that the problem was the memory card and not the quality of the download.

Around 2:30 AM I booted the game up and started unlocking. Between then and 5 AM I got about twenty characters unlocked. Should hold us over, I think.

Party starts at 1. :)

Yeah, i don't think you can unlock all 70ish fighters in 1 day unless you hook up an IV and catheter and just no-life the shit out of it lol. There's just too many characters to go through >_>

Maybe I'm thinking of All Star Mode. But one of them literally made you start over when you died and that shit was infuriating, even on the easiest setting
