They also know that Link always wins so they might go for the upset. And if they like Link there's a good chance they like Zelda as well. So can it happen? --- I just decided to change this sig. If there was a Link proxy effect, A) Ganondorf would be godlike, B) this would have happened before, and C) she would have beaten Sonic and Snake by a lot more. This is clearly down to Breath of the Wild, with a bit of bandwagon mixed in. --- I just decided to change this sig. Bandwagon Factor can also be quite strong; if Zelda vs. Mario were a round 1 match I think that Zelda would struggle to even break 45%. Combine those two and I think she has a small chance.
