It has been such a long time since every single fucking episode makes me like the thing more, and more, and more and the this week's episode added a bunch of WTF is going on mysteries but everything si so fuckign compelling and OMG this is the best shit ever, gonna need to read the manga cause I heard they are compressing like a billion manga volumes into 36 episodes.

Trust me, the less you know about it the better, it's more about the character interactiosn and their motivations but there is also some really good fight scenes, it;s an action show if I woudl give it a genre but there is also elements of mystery and thriller genre.

Also, top notch dialogue.

That not how it works. A show can't qualify for anime of the year in multiple years, especially not a year where only a small fraction of its total episodes aired.

Revue Starlight is really hard to exactly categorize into a certain genre, because there's so much going on. It borrows elements from shounen, shoujo, comedy, thriller, romance, and even idol anime in some ways. There's a heavy focus on the development of the characters, both on the stage and in their personal lives. Plus, there's a lot of symbolism used in the show. Whether it's the girls' different weapons and fighting styles, the lyrics to the songs that play as they fight, or the overarching connection to the titular Starlight stage play that the anime is centered around, there's always more to a scene than what you see and hear.

If I had to pick a famous classic anime that it compares closest to, it would be Revolutionary Girl Utena. Revue Starlight's director, Tomohiro Furukawa, has worked with Utena's director, Kunihiko Ikuhara, on a few different anime in the past, and it really shows.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is Season 1. It covers Parts 1 and 2 of JoJo.

Then you go to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders. This covers half of Part 3. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Battle in Egypt is the second half of Part 3.

Then it goes to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable, this is Part 4.

Finally, we have the currently airing Season. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Vento Aureo, this is Part 5.

I love a lot of it. My Hero Academia has been great for current stuff, and FMA Brotherhood is on my list of like, Top 5 anime ever made.

I'll give you a tidbit on what to expect from Jojo then. In Jojo there's currently 8 parts but the anime only has 5 parts as of now. The first anime covers Part 1 and 2 and honestly the first nine episodes is a real drag because it's dated as fuck. Once you get to episode 10 though, is when you start to get the real hype around the series. Do you enjoy protagonists beating his opponents in unconventional ways (which I think you would enjoy if you like MHA)? Part 2 does this a lot and you'll see why people really like the character Joseph Joestar a lot. Joseph in most of his fights is always at a disadvantage and has to find creative means to defeat his opponents. The biggest negative I can give about Part 2 anime is that there is a lot of commentary, since it's adapted from a manga it will often times cut away from the action to state the obvious which can get annoying but some people see it as 80's anime charm.

It's really up to you though, Jojo Bizarre Adventure gets a lot of love from here because it's very different from typical shonen stuff you see, but it also embodies a lot of the things people like about shonen as well.

Hunter X Hunter, beyond the Chimera Ant Arc, is a 7 at best. Greed Island is one of the worst arc's in an anime I've seen in many years that is not filler. I hated it, so much.

Xunter H Xunter does a shit ton of themes at once and succeeeds on most levels, it is not unthinkable for some of those themes to fail tho, which was the case of Greed Isalnd and even still the nen training was one of the best parts of the whole thing, it showcases how ultra focused you need to be to control the percentage of aura in your body only for some jackass to do it in like a couple of minutes after not even knowing about nen to demonstrate how ridiculously talented this bad guy is.

I think Hunter X Hunter is generic and boring, but Jojo is dope as hell. Check it out, fam. Season 1 is considered the most uninteresting part, but I still think it was cool. And season 2 has my favorite protagonist
