It was a long time ago, on the Final Fantasy 11 boards. Someone said I was trolling 'cuz I had a rare item, in the dispute I posted a screenshot that I did, in fact, have that item.

Sometimes I disagree on a personal level. But I don't care enough to bother arguing with the mod to have it overturned. Most of the time it's just because I was an enormous A-hole anyways. Or something silly like censor bypassing.

Like a few years ago where I said fuck the USA since I was trying to make point about flaming where you aren't attacking an individual or something, long time ago anyways so I forget exactly what I said.

Now I just accept whatever moderations that come my way now since they're usually for a crude jokes or some dumb shit that isn't "family friendly" I guess you call it.

I usually just use my appeal as a chance to further troll the moderators so, no, I do not believe I have had any overturned.

When one of the ass clowns from my fan club marked like 20 posts which were fine under the old TOS but violated the new one. Got all of them overturned, but doubt any action was taken against the troll. Other than that I've probably only been modded twice since the new system went into effect and one of those times was because a virtue-signalling mod (and the reviewing mod thereafter, which might have been the same guy) thought suggesting that rape culture -- the idea that rape isn't vilified and is instead encouraged in American society -- is anything other than real is a violation.

Whenever you get an overturn it's never satisfying. Only the derpy ones you're not mad about get overturned.

Someone reported me for saying the drinking and driving laws here are too strict and don't change or stop anything in certain situations and the mod who overturned it said "I have no idea why this was even considered for a moderation."

So there's at least one good mod out there.

The mods here are the worst on gamefaqs. I've been modded for stuff that doesn't break any rules, just stuff they didn't like. Like winter said, why bother.. you won't change their minds so meh. Who cares really? It's gamefaqs.. big deal some lonely neck beard doesn't agree with you.

I've never really bothered to dispute it. The last few mods didn't even cost any karma so it didn't seem worth it. I just kind of assumed that mods aren't going to turn on their own anyway.

I don't dispute valid moderations. However, valid moderations are pretty rare -- like that time I inadvertently censor-bypassed with an exaggerated profanity because I stretched out the letters in the word. The biggest problem with the old system was the massive amounts of gray area (like you could get in trouble for calling somebody one name but not another name), which is less of a problem under the new system (*all* insults get modded -- which is why I stopped directly calling trolls trolls)
