Honestly kind of makes sense to me that CS:GO would have a battle royale mode. How is it? Worth checking out?

Yeah, Valve just dropped it last week, and made the game F2P.

I definitely plan on it. Just need to reinstall the game. I have a feeling it's probably pretty good. It's the only battle royale game that's interested me considering I often view the final moments of any CS:GO match as a battle royale of sorts. Should be pretty cool.

It's pretty meh from what i've played of it. Only 16 players kinda kills it for me since in a quite a few games I'd finally find a decent pistol and ammo only to realize 5 people were left alive and that hardly seems like a battle royal. It has some neat ideas with how you spend money and get stuff delivered by drones others can shoot down or just follow to know where you are but all in all it just seems like an ok side mode to the game that's fun for a couple rounds here and there rather than something you could play exclusively for a long time.
