Artifact has limited appeal (as do card games in general) while also having to compete with bigger, established titles (namely Hearthstone and Magic) for its market space

The big question Artifact needs to answer is, "Why should I play Artifact when I can play Magic?" And to be honest, I don't think there's a compelling reason aside from the novelty, which wears off quickly

I was definitely interested in it until I realized that it was going to probably cost me $150 to have a worthwhile deck. It's quite funny coming from Dota where every character is free but the card game version is a pay to win trashheap.
