Just watched it earlier tonight. 8/10 enjoyable but yeah, wish they'd show more of the side cast. That animation though is mind blowing.

Also the post credit scene alone is worth the price of admission.

Honestly this is up there in my top superhero movies, alongside Logan and Dark Knight. Easily the best post credits scene ever.

I was honestly incredible and I was already expecting a good movie. This is without a doubt the best Spider-Man movie ever made and has a good shot of being a top 3 comic book movie period.

Between The LEGO Batman Movie and this, Lord and Miller have shown they really understand what makes superheroes great. Makes me sad they got kicked off The Flash!

just got through watching it

I definitely liked it, theres no doubt

I just wanna like it even MORE but I can't

Origin story slowed the pace down and yea, the other spider men were just human props

almost all of their scenes are in the trailers. That sucks, man

I guess realistically, if I were to justify it, if that crisis DID happen, they would NOT have enough time to develop their characters or have more bigger moments. They would indeed just get together and solve the problem ASAP

but as a movie...that stinks!

However, this movie had one goal and I think it excelled at it

Introducing Miles to the mainstream.

End credits were great

I enjoyed it, but I have one unimportant question.

His father is black and his mother's Latino, but their last name is Morales?

Whats funny is that I'm somewhat interested in Spiderham than the others

is his comic a comedy\gag comic?

is he ACTUALLY badass in it?

I can't tell if him taking out Scorpion was supposed to be played for sheer comedy (like Pumba fighting the hyenas in Lion King or something) or he was actually demonstrating his usual skill

(or both?)

I definitely wish there was more of the other spideys. It was basically just Peter and Miles, which is fine but there are plenty of stories that already do that.

Everything in general was so crazy enjoyable and beautiful though so that's okay. They teased a sequel too (although I was hoping 2099 was gonna be in this movie already....) so I can't really complain that this story was a bit simple. It was a test for the animation and writing style and it succeeded wildly.

And yeah the post credits scene was wayyyy too good. The spiderman 3 reference also. Memes like that should be annoying but they were perfect.

Is this really his first movie? The origin story was definitely necessary then. I figured most people knew Miles already but I guess not.

Yeah, first movie. Hes been in a couple of the recent animated Spidey shows, though not as the main character.

This movie was great. The pacing was on point, and they managed to feature 6 heroes and 6 villains and not get bogged down at all. I do highly prefer the Vanessa of Netflix Daredevil, the knowing and accepting romantic partner to the crime lord, but this version gave Kingpin solid motivation. Also, Spider-Noir and the Rubik's cube is solid gold.
