Hey man thats a tough thing

Youre gonna have some tough days ahead dealing with this

Hormones are going to make it especially tough on her

But every day is a new day and you will wake up and move forward, even the days you feel like its a struggle not to fall backward

Hope all goes well moving forward.

TSA agents and the like have been doing it for over 3 weeks now, that's just how it goes when the government isn't funded but certain jobs still need to get done. And we *will* be paid at some point once those in power decide to do their job and vote on things.

Hope that happens soon. I'm lucky that DoD is part of the gov't that is funded, but I don't know how long that will last if this goes on much longer.

You can't technically be legally forced to work without pay (unless you have committed a crime, hence prison slavery) but if you wanna keep your job after they start paying again you are essentially forced into doing so.

Yeah, though my understanding is that sending this second group of employees back to work is pretty legally questionable

Each day gets a bit better.

We told her family yesterday and most of mine today. It has felt a bit like scheduled sadness, but sharing is helpful.

She is still experiencing bleeding and cramping though and after looking into it, it might continue for a couple weeks..

Just finally read your update FD.

I feel for you and your wife man.

My wife had 2 miscarriages and was told by the doctor that she'd likely never have a kid because she was diagnosed with PCOS. But then one day she could and we had 3 kids in a row.

I don't know if it was just chance or some sort of miracle but when the time was right it happened. It's very well possible it can happen for you too.

Stay positive and keep your chin up dude.

It was really nice! Spent some time in in about half a dozen different little towns in the Santa Cruz area (while avoiding the overtly popular places because we're hipster like that). We explored bluffs, beaches, piers and caves and then looked at some of the little shops.

There was a cave in particular that had me very nervous to go inside. We were probably 60 or so feet into it, and then turned back after I nearly dropped my phone. We might have another adventure some day just to go back to that cave. We were getting to the point where you couldn't even see the light from the cave entrance so we were using our phones. If we go back we'll bring flashlights and waterproof phone backs and such to see if we can reach the back of it. I'm really nervous about things like going in caves or standing on the edge of a bluff (etc), but she likes adventure so I have to push myself sometimes.

She was 20-22 and yeah the depression she experienced was pretty severe. She finally had our first son when we were both 23. It took a little bit of time but the circumstances were just right for her I guess. I used to cook for her a lot and we ate tons of protein but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

I'll never forget when we found out that she was pregnant with our 1st kid. She was having a bunch of issues with pain and cramping so we went to the doctor and she came in the room after blood tests and whatnot and said that she was almost 3 months along. We were both in disbelief because she had been previously told that it was unlikely that she'd ever have a baby due the the pcos.

It's not something everyone can afford but I made her quit her job and take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy and she eventually carried full term. Can't say for sure what made the circumstance any different but it was almost like having the first kid to full term cured her as she easily got pregnant 2 and 4 years later with my other 2 kids.

One thing I will say though is never give up. If it's a child you want, you gotta keep focused. Obviously it'll be your job to help her relieve her stress. The less stress she has the more friendly her body will be to an embryo despite all other potential complications. There are some vitamins that she can take to promote uterus health.

Iron. ...
Folic Acid. ...
Vitamin B12. ...
Omega-3 Fatty Acids. ...
Vitamin D. ...
Calcium & Magneisum

All of these are essential in reproductive health. Do your research though if that is something you might be interested in. Sometimes a specific diet could make all of the difference.

Yeah she's on a prenatal vitamin. I'll have to double check what's in it, but we adjusted our diet over 6 months ago to follow some various recommendations for helping conception. It's not something we know to much about though.

That's nice to hear dude.

Not to get weird on you but I read somewhere once that the best way to conceive is with simultaneous O's. Making sure this happens isn't so much for you but I guess the cervix is in a better position to receive because of the natural muscle contractions and whatnot.

I would recommend you spend some time on the foreplay not so much as a perversion of course but to really get her engaged and make her feel like she matters more than the deed.

I've heard before that sometimes a woman's psychological state can impact the physiological process behind nurturing an embryo.

Either way, Good Luck dude. Hoping for the best for you and your family.

The good news is that everything has normalized to pre pregnancy levels and there doesn't seem to be any lasting damage of any sort.

The bad news is that we aren't pregnant again yet.

We're going to keep testing every couple weeks though and give it a few months before we start looking into whether or not we have any kind of fertility issues. It took 9 months of trying for the first one and we don't want to wait that long again.
