[this week's flash] how many times are they going to defeat cicada without finishing him off i am so so so so mad oh my god please stop, this is even 2 weeks in a row cicada has been stopped ffs this is why Legends s1 was garbage

I've tried making the topic a few times but nobody was really interested!

Not defeating Cicada is even more inexcusable since they had the friggin' timeloop on their side. Phil Connors could've easily defeated Cicada in between piano lessons and ice sculpting.

Arrow was pretty creepy this week, and I wasn't really expecting Mr. Terrific's exit, even though he's been kind of background noise this season anyway. And they finally featured Green Arrow's Chili! That was awesome.

Arrow this season is honestly pretty good, and everything has been very different in time throughout the entire season. Quite dark.

Arrow was great this episode except for the ending. Fucking woof.

The flash forwards as a whole have been pretty awful on Arrow. Which is unfortunate because the main stuff has all been pretty great.

I just don't understand the point of the flash forwards. What do they have to do with anything? What's worse is they're not particularly interesting either.

Why should anyone care about a potential future storyline when it doesn't impact the present at all? If Future Felicity makes a time machine though I will probably quit the show. Like I will just be DONE.

I just wish Felicity would go away though. She's not fun and nothing she does is interesting or compelling. She's just a black hole of a character. I know she's been that for a while, but it's especially egregious now that we have a future timeline entirely based on her.

My main issue with the flashforwards is everything is so awful so what's the point of the present storyline? The heroes aren't going to fix anything, everything is going to get worse, and they are all horrible parents. Yay!

Nora was so frustrating this episode. Why would you not just tell these people what happened right away? Or okay, I get maybe you think it's simple, you just keep Iris back and everything's good, but 52 fucking times and even then it's only because of Cisco that anything actually got explained. Also it was dumb they were like "yeah but if we all stay here then Cecille dies" as if Nora can't go grab her or Cisco can't just go breach her to the lab. Augh.

I've heard whispers that Hulu is looking into picking the shows up, but due to Netflix's contract they have to wait until they have been cancelled for two years.

I'm not sure what Hulu would do in the event that they actually wanted to pick up more Marvel IPs. Disney has a significant stake in Hulu, though, so it only behooves them to make sure deals are made for development of their properties.

I could see Legends ending next year, but Arrow will probably be around as long as enough of the actors still sign on. (I could see them replacing Oliver if Amell decided to call it quits)

Tbh I think they're better off making a new show if anything. A fresh coat of paint would get more ratings than the daunting 10th season of a show.

Supernatural will be in its 15th season next year.

Supernatural hasn't ever lost their lead(s) like Arrow would, and Arrow doesn't do the ratings Supernatural still does 14 seasons in.

alright so stop the clock for Flash s5

So it took 16 episodes to finish/cure Cicada 1 and go to the long foreshadowed Cicada 2. Why did it take this long Flash whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? There's absolutely no legitimate reason they couldn't have just done this at most within the first 10 episodes and even that would be more than he deserved.

also did they really need to throw in just 1 last Team Flash Beats Cicada Before Cicada Flees scene early in the episode.

also just generally can we please just ban Barry from ever tossing a lightning bolt again, it's like the only way he fights anymore

Black Lightning finale was kind of a mess.

Tobias fight was anti-climactic, not to mention the past few couple episodes he was basically turning into a crazy person for no real reason. The potential there just really went to shit.

The fight with the four metas was pretty sloppy, especially the water and ice powers.

The pod kids being released and then the ASA just let them all leave because...?

Jennifer's recklessness almost gets Gambi killed and no one calls her out for it, and she even has the audacity to just say "oh another thing to hold against Tobias!" like come on.

What is even going on with Lala? Why did they leave him out of the majority of the season then randomly bring him back and then he still gets beaten by Tobias and I half expect it'll be another 10 episodes before we see him again.

I feel like the quality of the show in general went down a lot this season.

I was going to come in and post basically all of those same things. This BL season has been pretty lackluster compared to last year's unfortunately. The dumbest part of the season was when BL and Thunder showed up in full costume to help escort Khalil into police custody but then didn't bother to stay with the truck after they left and then it was captured immediately. Like come on.

Also I wanna know how Thunder's shock wave can put out fires without making anything else shake even a little.

CW is cleaning house! With this year and next year, I have to wonder what they'll be bringing in to replace everything. I have to think they have another comic book show in mind. And knowing them, they already have a Supernatural spin-off brewing.
