Well I managed to squeak 3 more Syldra and got her inherited with magic boon +20 and empowered Wind +15... and I finally beat that damn turtle! Mastered too despite the long time (somehow I only lost one medal for actions, but got full medals everywhere else, guess Dena is lenient with what a bastard this guy is.)



Awwww yeah, only Deathgaze left! The chain dream select can't come soon enough. Also am I the first regular here to beat Adamantoise?

I dunno but I haven't done it, Adamantoise is the only one I haven't beaten (and Deathgaze I haven't done 4 times yet). I kinda decided I'm not going to kill myself on unfun fights. I might just wait for the Orlandu banner before I try Deathgaze again.

If we get the chain banner I wonder what will be on it. If it's purely gen 1 I won't bother since the only magicite I can't do is Adamantoise... I need Alphinaud. But if it's not on there I'll just save my gems and go for Fujin's chain in the next fest.

That stat-buff banner is the biggest dupe-fest I have ever seen. Literally 12/14 dupes, only missing the Red relics.

I just got a dupe Noctis USB1 on the daily draw. Kinda disappointing when you see that disco ball and then it turns out to be junk.

And yeah, stat boost banner is dupe city for me too.

Man these revamped realm banners have barely given me anything. 10 gave me Lulus LMR.

Going to give Tiamat a shot, I think with squalls LMR/BSB2/AOSB and Ayame as backup, I may be okay. If I take her down, its just Kraken left before the 4* holy/dark magicites

The drop rate nerf on G5 really hurt the revamped realm banners. You just notice it a lot more when you're making so many draws.

I really hate that they did that and ninja'd it in under other banner drop retooling.

Tiamat down in 28 seconds!

No DCs for Squall, but Ayame got a few with lai hellfrost or whatever its called. Used voltech with OK, along with protectga, but unsure if I still should. Cant use entrust, since Ill have nothing to build meter, and cant drop protectga because of savage jet fire. Screwed up and had Rosa use wrath first instead of shellga, so the first twister hit decently. Also used defend with Squall on his second last turn instead of SSS, so I still think theres room for improvement on that time

Adamantoise is defiantly beatable with Zack's chain since that's what I used, though Zack himself ends up being a liability outside of that beside imperils. Oh also forgot to mention I also reset Terra's 100 HP magia to wind damage magia, might not be that much of a damage boost but the sooner she can break the savage mode the better.

I don't think this stat boost banner is that bad outside of BSBs, but it's definitely not for veterans fighting 5* magicite. They should have released this around a Kingdom Hearts event since those have new people coming in around that and this banner would be amazing for them, not during a lull like now.

I've drawn for like, none of the relics on it, and still have 11/14 of the items on the stat boost banner. I think any veteran is just going to accidentally have a lot of those relics just from drawing on fest banners regularly.

yeah i have 6/14 and haven't seen many longtime players with less. 4 of those i got from free pulls in fests with guaranteed 6* (Ramza, Rikku and Tyro USBs, plus a Tyro BSB in the same draw as his USB). the other 2 i was actively trying to get (Ramza BSB and LMR). i've drawn like once each on a couple banners with Onion Knight relics and only because there was other stuff i wanted more.

Yeah I haven't even been spending all my stamina. Just been getting the 3 clears daily for the mythril.

Technically I have interesting content to do (my dark physical team and both fire teams probably can beat their magicites) but haven't felt like bothering. Definitely feeling a bit of attrition. The 5* Magicite are just high maintenance to learn and strategize for.

We're pretty much in the calm before the storm of Dark Odin and the 6* Magicite, nuhtin' to do besides build our Magicite decks and collect the missing rubies in preparation.

What makes it really dull though is that most banners aren't worth pulling on till the next fest and 3+ Awakenings banners, also the nerfed 11 pull rates kills the yolo felling of impulse pulling (which is a blessing and a curse) So if you're stuck against a boss you need new relics for there's nothing to do but wait.

Is anyone planning to do any pulls before the next fest? I think I'll probably do one on the Tactics event this week but that might be it. I was also planning to do at least one on the Terra wind banner, but after I got her awakening in the realm draw it doesn't seem as worthwhile... even though I'd still like to be able to give her enWind.

Ah yeah, forgot about those. Most likely I'll skip them because they're too diluted. If there was a wind magic banner I'd go for it but the wind banner is going to be mostly overwhelmed with physical stuff I don't need.

Orlandeau Awakening might not be worth chasing anymore since he doesn't have infusion so he'll be useless for 6* magicite.

I'll probably pull on the 15 Holy elemental in hopes of a chain or something to help with Deathgaze at least, I wish we knew when (or if) we'll get the chain dream select.

Eh, I'm sure he'll get a couple of glints / LMRs by the time 6* Holy/Dark get here. It's a calculated risk for sure, but he's such a big money character I doubt they'll just abandon him.

Since all of Orlandu's stuff returns in the fest, the real reason to pull in this banner is Ramza and Agrias. Ramza is one of my favorites so I don't think I can resist.

While Orlandeau is most likely going to get glints or LM infusions those will probably show up on the same banner with his awakening anyway (unless he gets a second one) probably better just to wait and get them together.

I managed to get a Famfrit sub-30 Auto Battle team set up!

On Speed 5, it's about 50% to finish before 30 seconds. Just ran the same team, same auto-battle settings, same everything except for Speed 1, and got 21 seconds. Now, I'll grant that the Speed 1 run may have been luckier with dual casts, but that doesn't explain a ten second difference. Good grief.

I haven't done a full price draw in a while (only did the first 2 USB selects), but a chain banner will get my hard-earned cash.

Assuming Gen 1 only, I'm probably picking Zack chain, with an outside-shot of Rinoa/Snow.
If Gen 2's are in, Laguna or Faris both become very interesting picks too.

Glint, USB, LM and Chain for me, (hoo boy) probably not all the same time though. Glint is more for upcoming 6* Magicite (most likey Terra since I have her awakening) and that can wait till next payday.

I'd say generally vanilla damage USBs are better than damage bUSBs unless you're needing to break Savage Mode on 5* Magicite. Don't know how Alph's specifically compare though.

Side note got Basch's bootleg Hyper Mighty G off the daily. Should be useful for Torment and maybe even holy magicite so this is a winner and probably the best item I've pulled from these.

Lately my interest level has been declining and I'm not sure I want to spend more money on the game. But I already have enough gems for 2 dream selects from buying a leviathan pouch last time so I may as well spend those if the options are decent.

Chain - if it's all gen 1 then it's an easy pass for me. If there are gen 2s I would consider it, especially Alphinaud, Edward, or Ramza.

I think Alphinaud's BUSB is way better than his USB1 because of the radiant shield wind - at least if you're using a chain.

I may go for Zack or Warrior of Light if it's Gen1 only. I'll have to think about it. If Gen 2 is on the table Edward or Ramza or Faris would probably make the most sense but... that Rikku water chain has been so elusive and Strago is sub optimal.

Alph's brave command actually does multiple hits so it's can't break Adamantoise's savage mode unfortunately.

It's actually more useful for Hecat since the radiant shield builds chain like crazy and Alph can refresh hastega after savage quake.

Wind is one of the chains Im missing unfortunately, but I would likely select that from the dream select. Though potentially holy, fire, or earth instead, need to weigh my options.

You're probably going to want a holy/wind chain mostly, since Adamantoise and Deathgaze's defense buffs are stupid high and very few people have beaten them chainless.

Tried a more offensive team without astra against Adamantoise by swapping Tyro with Barbarbicca, sucks getting confused and not being able to use OK USB3 but I figured Terra can't do much anymore when her awakening runs out and Zack wasn't contributing much anyway. Got my last 3 Adamantoises and even a sub 40!



Now I never want to fight this fucker again unless I get a better wind chain or another wind magic awakening, or at least until the buff that lets Terra triplecast meltdown.

I did another pull, 1/11 Ramza AOSB. Not very exciting but oh well. I'm way behind in my monthly magicite quest so far and don't really have much motivation to do it... but I should at least get to 10 (I'm at 7 now)
