Very good. Shadowbringers is great, but honestly everything post-ARR is better than any FF game in the past 15 years.

I mean, I figured the story must be hype when WhiteLens explained that people were justified in freaking out over the E3 trailer.
But at the end of the day, it's still an monthly sub based MMO which is what's gonna prevent me from ever diving in. Though I hear that they even manged to handle the usual pitfalls MMOs face when launching new expansions. Every year I do the FFXIV raids at a convention, get my shirt saying I beat X boss and that's my fill of FFXIV for the year.
This year, that tradition was broken as the queues were so insane, they rivaled Pokemon Sword and Shield demo's queue. A game that old being as hot as the newest Pokemon was crazy to me, but it sort of shows just how popular. Final emphatic declaration on how hot FFXIV is? Yoshi-P signing tickets were being distributed at one of the kiosks on a first come, first served basis.
