I know that's true for basically all From games, but it's super apparent in Sekiro.

Anyway beat the game. Quite enjoyed it. Don't know where it belongs in the From games. Give me your order.

First playthrough rankings: Dark 1>Sekiro>Dark 3>Bloodborne>Dark 2>Demon's

Probably gonna end up putting it below Dark 3 and Bloodborne due to being less replayable, though.

Yeah. Sekiro starts off as potentially the hardest of the bunch but boy it becomes easy mode once you've beaten it and got the rhythm of combat down.

As for rankings, they all excel in different ways but I'd say something like:

Bloodborne>Dark Souls>Sekiro=Dark Souls 3>Demons>Dark Souls 2

Bloodborne remains top dog overall to me no question. Its got the awesome atmosphere and gameplay along with sweet sweet lore and amazing DLC. Its only lacking in PVP which is bottom tier but I don't care too much about that in regards to that game.

Dark Souls had memorable places, characters, good gameplay, and atmosphere (though not on BB and DeS level). Also had some nice PVP and top tier DLC

Sekiro has awesome gameplay but I didn't care too much about the lore or characters. Its kind of hard to stack it up against the other Soulsborne games because its not really a Soulsborne game to begin with. No PVP but not sure how good it'd be.

DS3 I liked and would put it around Sekiro level in the mid/high tier although again its weird to compare them. Everything was there but it didn't have as much impact as DS1 did.

DeS started the trend but its weird going back to it. Though I will say it is probably the best in terms of atmosphere it creates. Gameplay and PVP not as much (fuck off Scraping Spear X1000). OST is great too

DS2 Id put at or near bottom in most things though I still enjoyed it. However I also personally think DS2 had the best PVP overall.

The more I think about it, the harder it is to rank. They all have things I love.

I mostly agree with your points though.

Give Kuro's Charm back in the beginning and ring the demon's bell. Difficulty ramps up by quite a lot in that most attacks that don't one shot you normally does and your posture breaks like ice. Not to mention takin chip damage if you don't deflect perfectly.

Yeah, I second giving Kuro's Charm back if you haven't already done so. I also found NG+ a breeze, which I appreciated given how hard the game was the first time through. I also breezed through most of NG+2, so I decided that on my last run, I'd give up the charm and ring the Demon Bell.

Yo, NG+3 with all those parameters is no joke. I still sped past most levels because I pretty much knew the optimal routes, but some of the bosses required different strategies.

The first Owl fight and Sword Saint Isshin felt impossible at times with how much posture and chip damage they do. Minibosses like Giraffe, O-rin, Iai master guy, etc. require perfect timing unlike just spamming the deflect button and blocking as a last resort with Kuro's charm.

Game rankings:
Bloodborne > Sekiro > Dark Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls 2

On the note of NG+ being generally easier. Of course it is. Not just Sekiro all other Souls games were the same. Because the 1st playthrough really kicks your ass and forces you to git gud at the combat and master its mechanics. The 2nd playthrough is basically you going back to those adversaries you've already overcome with more knowledge, resources and mastery of the combat.

I don't think I have played a single Soulsborne game that I have not found much easier on New Game+ despite the ramped up stats.
