I know how it's supposed to be done. But I have never done it so I would be muddling my way through it until I got a feel for things. I see no reason to bother with it though.

I do. But I'm out of practice. I would definitely not want to drive one in a city that's got a lot of steep hills

Very meagerly. I practiced it once upon a time, and it's been a long time.

I think I do, but have no inclination to try. Where I live, many people have gone to automatics exclusively because constantly shifting in heavy traffic and the hilly terrain made it too much of a pain to stick with a manual.

Modern automatics are more efficient and precise than a person could be anyway.

I learned on stick-shift, and got my license on automatic (because the older vehicle was kaput). Fun times, driving up and down a road in the middle of nowhere as I learned to drive, let alone on stick-shift.

Learning.

With most vehicles being automatic, it's not really needed anymore.

Of course, much prefer stick shift, much greater control. And a better sound.

Modern automatics have zip for engine braking, which is very annoying in traffic or when the roads are slick. Also can't feather the clutch for traction on snow and ice.
