I had a fair number of F's along the way. The worst one was the final semester of high school; I'm not even sure what happened, but it meant I didn't get to go to commencement and I had to go to summer school. (Wasn't all bad, I got to read The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier. It was exactly the cynicism I needed.)

My lowest was about a C in high school Chemistry.

I think my political views are fairly libertarian in the area of what government should be doing in society - I want government to stay out of regulating or running things except when there is an actual benefit to having government do it over the private sector due to the incentives lining up the right way, like with the environment or with breaking up (but NOT regulating) monopolies.

In terms of economic equality I am fairly socialist in outlook and want progressive taxes. But I want to benefit the working class and don't favor the upper middle class over the rich. I think California's "progressive" income tax system is horrible, where it gets to 9% at 52k income and stays at 9% until past 250k. The effective total tax rate on someone making 52k is going to be much higher than someone making 250k, due to 1) payroll tax, 2) sales tax, and 3) flat fees like vehicle registration.

The centrist Democrats I see as basically the worst of both worlds - they want heavy handed government involvement in things where it will do no good, they are fairly intolerant of differing viewpoints from their own and willing to use economic and maybe government power to suppress dissent, and they consistently favor the upper middle class over the working class.

As someone who usually got straight As, one year in high school I bombed the math midterm exam, which counted for like 20% of our semester grade (which, looking back, was kind of an arbitrary thing to do to have one test mean so much, especially in this instance when it was just a glorified typical math test). It wasnt due to lack of knowledge. It was just a bunch of technical errors. Ended up getting a C in that class altogether.

Yeah the bougie people suck but uh your solutions are all dumb as hell because they don't ever favor the working class, just the capitalists. Like just admit you are primarily concerned with either your own interests or owning the libs.

Worst grade like at the end of a term, or for a single assignment?

Overall term: I got a B- in Calculus.

Single assignment: Probably a 51 F. Once again in Calculus.

Graduated college with a 3.6 GPA.

i remember in one of my colleges P.E. was a required class and i had to take two classes. Some of them started later in the year (like middle of the semester) and i signed up for one of those and just completely forgot about the class.

I didnt fail though, I just like didnt get a grade because they auto withdrew me after a week.

Well they forced you to move on in a lot of courses so in junior high I'd get A's and B's in all the important subjects and then F's in art and shop and stuff because I'd just go home once the classes that mattered were done with.

I got a 70 in Gr 11 Math and realized that Math wasn't for me after that. I never took a Math course again other than basic Data Management.

Had an F in high school chemistry before switching it to a different, but otherwise got a pity passing D- in high school geometry. Never understood a single assignment in that class and finished the final exam in like 1-2 mins. There was no point in me even reading any of it so I just filled in the scantron as quickly as possible.

I got an F in Civil Engineering in high school from a teacher who hated me.

D+ when I got an A on a exam but a 0 on another cuz I missed it and the prof wouldn't let me make it up. But a D+ counted as credit so I didn't have to retake the class.
