I didn't like this one at all. First of all, this was stupidly easy. Got stumped once. Second of all was how and when Kaede set up the books. Shuichi should've noticed her moving the ladder all along the bookcases, noticing that she didn't need to go that far and that it was taking entirely too long for simply trying to find a spot to set up a camera. Thirdly, shot put balls are fucking heavy. There is no way in hell that it rolling down the vent didn't give it enough momentum to send one of the books flying, thus ruining her plan. And lastly, the true main character is this boring ass Shuichi?

I know I didn't initially like the second one but this isn't the same. This case has so many holes in it and it ends with Kaede being a decoy protagonist and the real one is this boring, pathetic dude.

Seriously, all the rest of them are beyond irritating.

Yeah, I have no idea who survives but I heard about the ending and I don't really have a real motivation to actually finish this now. With this case being as bad as it was and how it ends, zero reason to continue.

I was so shocked by that twist. It was probably the most intense reaction Ive had to any twist, ever. I literally put my Vita down in disbelief lol

I love the game and still replay the first case every once in a while.

I disagree with literally everything you said. Case 1 is one of the best cases in the entire series. No one I've seen or heard from figured out that Kaede was the killer until the moment she outs herself, so it was a huge plot twist. When you say it was stupidly easy, do you mean you figured it out during the investigation like DR1 case 1? I don't care how many times I'm stumped in a trial (the first one, the tutorial one) if the story is great and I didn't see it coming, so I was answering the questions as they come and not seeing too far ahead, and there's nothing wrong with that. Also you don't know if the ball would crash through the books because it took a hard, maybe 90 degree bend in the vent and could have lost all momentum and slowly rolled out the hole. You're applying real world physics in a high school murder game with a talking bear where the end of the last game ends in as a simulated world. If you want to talk improbable physics, DR1 and 2 are way worse in that regard.

Also Shuichi is easily the best Danganronpa protagonist and one of the best characters in general because of how much he grows over the course of the game.

Hajime is a better protagonist than Shuichi. He has no problem saying exactly what hes thinking and it felt refreshing. Shuichi isnt bad and I do like him, but I dont think hes the best protagonist in the series even with the way his character developed. TC, you should keep playing because this game because its the funniest Danganronpa game.

That can sometimes be a bad thing though. Most of his sass was directed at Nagito, and while Nagito is an asshole, he knew everything about the cases, or at least major clues. So I always found it annoying when Hajime would shut up Nagito when he tries to speak or wouldn't even bring him into the conversations.

Yeah, actually. She was acting extremely suspicious. The way she kept pushing Shuichi specifically really stood out. I knew she was sacrificing herself then and there.

Well let's say it lost all momentum. Books are flat surfaces, not ramps. There's no way the ball would've continued rolling down as there was no longer a ramp to follow. And yes I'm applying real world physics because that is largely how the murders operated. This is the first one where you have to throw physics out the window for it to work.

Yeah, unfortunately. I liked Makoto and Hajime so I thought we'd be getting a change of pace at this point. But nope, they essentially recycled what happened with Makoto and Sayaka.

Shuichi has just as much personality as Kaede. I love Kaede but she only gets as much attention as she does because she was the "first female MC" of DR.

Like seriously, Shuichi is the best of the three main characters. By far.

Not really lol. She didnt betray Hajime or try to set him up to take the fall. She was just trying to save everyone and get rid of the mastermind. Its a very different situation
