Wow, 50 days sober now. I just got my medical exam results from last month and my blood pressure has gone down. Good thing because I was worried about it. My weight went up a bit but my waistline seems to have gone down.

I've been hitting the gym and I look a lot more toned again, and now that I'm not drinking I don't feel so bad when I might have a snack or two.

I'm not always tired and I can get through the stress of the day better.

Just quit drinking. It's a poison and it doesn't do you any good at all.

Congrats man. Keep it up. Is booze the only thing you were on, or did you have to give up other stuff too?

Just alcohol. I lead a pretty balanced life other than that, but alcohol was really hurting my gains. It was becoming an everyday thing. And with drinking, I was eating junk too. I'm in my 30s now and the hangovers are really starting to hit me hard. So, I'm glad I don't have to deal with those anymore.

Yeah you picked the right time to quit, that's for sure. Good job. It's a big achievment.
